Has George ever discussed how he makes the insulators on the power/telephone poles?

I believe they are FSM castings. I will confirm.

Accross from Senour's Floor Paint we have this unique structure - I don't know of a name for it.

As we work our way down this side of the street, there are several structures that I do not have pictures of.  Can anyone help here?  If not, it will give me an area to concentrate on next time I visit the F&SM. One think this project has done is point out all the pictures I wish I would have got - and what I want to get next time I visit.

Great view of that street.  It shows what an artistic eye George has.

John,

Thanks again for all the photos. One can never get enough of this masterpiece. I'm seeing parts of the F&SM I've never seen before.

Thanks for following along - I'm finding things in the photographs that I don't remember seeing in person.  I have a list of things I want to take a better look at and photograph the next time I get to visit.

One big question for George - how in the hell did he find time to build the F&SM and still
find time to produce such great kits?
Had to be a lot of tired and sleepy nights!!

He didn't spend good modeling time on these forums! I'm pretty sure he did all of the layout build, structures, etc., and the kit business during normal business hours.

I had this discussion with George last week.  He checks out the forums in the morning before he leaves for the shop.  He chooses not to post, but he does follow at least three different forums including this one. He told me he doesn't use the computer once he is at the shop.
