You really need to make it up to one of George's open houses.  And speaking of work - I need to get some more pictures ready to post.

As we turn the corner on the mainline we find Avram's Baking Company in the next group of structures.

The Stone building to the left of Avram's Bakery is a highly modified CC Crow Stone Enginehouse.

I'm getting ready to post some more pictures here and decided to give George a call to get a few of our questions answered, and see how he was doing with all the snow in the Boston area.  Here are a few bullets from the conversation.

Randy - The telephone poles and insulators are a combination of RIX Railroad Telephone Poles and some FSM castings.  George says he used both depending on what he had on hand at the time.  The Rix product is still available I checked their web site.

<snip>

George like everyone else on the East coast has been spending a lot of time shoveling snow.

I didn't see this until now, and thanks for remembering my question...and providing the answer!

Welcome to the forum!  Thanks for the input - I will post some more pictures of that structure tonight.  Does anyone know what George called it?  I haven't found a picture from the Avram's side of the building yet.

No problem - let me know if you have any other questions and I will ask George.

Is the stone building to the right South River Modelworks?  -The main building from Threadwell Textiles - without the dormers and the outside stairwell?

Cheers, Mark.

Mark we now have three votes for a SRMW kit bash see post from Tom.  I will confirm it with George the next time I talk to him but it sure looks like the SRMW castings to me.

Here are a few more pictures of the CC Crow Engine House kit bash called The Adams & Westlake MFG. Co.  The mystery of the name of this structure was solved by a blowup of a picture I took from the other side of the layout. Updated post 04/21/15.

I need a layout plan of the F&SM that is not going to get me in trouble with the copyright police - can anyone help?

As we turn the corner and head out onto the peninsula we pass under the covered bridge.
