The fading/weathering on the Uneeda Biscuit sign is amazing.  It looks to be painted on.

I agree Jeff - I have asked George about his technique, which he describes in one of his Allen Keller videos, about the key to making this technique work.  He told me that it is sanding the back of the paper until it is see through thin.  It is on my long list of things to try.

At this point let's step back and look at a few overview photographs of the Bedford Falls Area.  This area has many structures from FSM kits.  First a couple panorama shots.

Now we move in a little closer and move from left to right around the Bedford Falls curve. Starting with the area we are now studying.

Our next structure is the main building from the Chippy Hollow Hardware FSM kit. George has the name W.S. Knot Company Leather Belting on this structure.

Just got back on line and wanted to say thank you for the Alan Deeks photos. I will continue to follow this thread as it progresses  around the F&SM.

No problem - I wish I had more and better shots of it.  We are glad you decided to follow along with us on our journey around George's wonderful layout.  I'm working on the next batch of pictures - and Mark Dalrymple is sending me some great pictures.  As they say,  stay tuned.

John,

Great photos, anyone of his structures could be a kit.

I agree.

Just imagine how many more kits George could do using only the structures he has created for this layout.
