Quote from: Larry C on September 06, 2026, 08:36:08 PMTom first off nice to see you back out in the Shed. What happened sucked but at least it was fixable.
Hope you don't overdue, take your time.

Larry,

Nice to be back. I can see well enough to do this kind of work but not small modeling work.

I can't over due as I have a spouse that is very vocal when I spend to much time without resting the eye. She even times my reading. At least she cares enough to monitor all this.  8)

Butty Ron,

Thanks, shock was one way to look at it. I was more than "pissed" at first. I then thought, it needs to be fixed so move on and don't dwell on it.

Quote from: friscomike on Today at 09:29:20 AMHowdy Tom,

What a shame that the glue didn't hold.  I'm looking forward to your return to the gas station build.  Good luck!

Have fun,
mike

Mike, Howdy,

Yes, I agree, it certainly wasn't a welcome site to see. I'll fix it and move one. I gives me something to do while my eye heals to the point that I get my focus back to see cearly.

I'm ready to get back to the build also.

As I mentioned in past posts, I've used this method on other areas.

Pink foam glued to the plywood, 2 ply cardboard glued on top of the pink foam. When dry, seal and paint.

Roadway glued to the pink foam. This area has been here for years.

The structures on the right are all on pink foam and 2 ply.

This next area shows the pink foam and 2 ply. This area was done some 7 years ago with no separation of foam or 2 ply.
