Rick

Tom, I'm very happy to see an update from you.
Hope you can find more of the foam or a suitable substitute.

Larry C

Tom like the others have already expressed; it's nice to see you "back in the saddle again". Hope you find a viable solution to the foam dilemma.

Butty Curt,

I'm getting back into the building, albeit slowly.

Terry,

The number you have for me is a land line. It won't receive texts. I do have a cell phone and only use it for listening to m,usic.  8)

Philip,

Good to be in the shop, even if I don't get much done at this time. But later, watch out.

It's great to see you back again.
That's a bummer regarding the pink foam.
Upon a search tonight, I see that one store in New York State, about a 20 minute
ride for me, has 19 - 1/4" x 4' x 50'  pink foam that is a "fan-fold" package for $64.00
I have no idea if they could ship it to you. The store is located in Olean, NY.
Good Luck !

Rich

Rich,

Good to be back and great to hear from you.

Larry,

"Back in the saddle again!" Yes, I agree. I'm beginning to feel like I there is and end in site for all this medical stuff.

Afternoon all,

I appreciate all the suggestions on finding the pink foam board.

Here is what I did ----

Lowes sells foam board but the thinnest is 1/2", so that's a no go for me.

Home Depot sells the the pink foam in the 1/4" thickness. They say they are currently out of stock and they don't want to order it as it is a slow seller. However, it is on their store website. Their customer service sucks big time and the special order person really didn't want to order it unless I came in and paid up front.

Menards was a no go as well.

Owens Corning corporate office in Toledo, OH said they no longer make it.

The great news is that I found the stuff on Ebay of all places. It was $20 over the retail price but included free shipping. It will arrive between November 3 and November 7.

The world is back on its intended axis.

Well, not a bargain, but it sounds like a very good solution.
