Folks in Michigan that got up early enough saw a partial eclipse of the moon early this morning but it was too low behind our woods to catch it here. It's cold still, 20s with hazy bright trending to cloudy skies. Another great freeze/thaw cycle for the Maple Sugaring folks here in the area. It's a big deal in town. (Vermontville) Only real reason to ever go there is the Maple Syrup Festival the last weekend of April. Then the creatures crawl out! :o

Little to report here. Waffles and fake syrup is on the menu. They're still cooking this year's batch.

We had a coyote pass by the cam last night868032066166301-50-4-03032026030308-HD-SYFW8715.jpeg

Really weird because I was talking to my brother yesterday and told him I had never actually seen one right here at my place. They are all over the area by the dozens but they hide quite well most of the time. He said after that chat, his Google feed had a bunch of stuff about coyotes.

Enjoy the day
