Hello everyone,

A (still) work in progress of mine, as i have to fill in the details. An art deco / streamline moderne gas station. This is based on a kit of mine (original design, 3d printed kit), that is currently in storage somewhere. Soon it will take it's place on the new layout. I am still on the fence on if i should go for an actual brand at the time (like Phillips 66) for the layout or something made-up.

Thanks for stopping by!

This is the completed structure with many details missing (in the meantime i have designed and printed era-correct vending machines and gas pumps)

and the kit parts before assembly.

Curt and Craftsmankits many thanks!

Nice. Personally, I'd choose a real brand of gas rather than make one up. It engages a broader audience; A gas station is something more people are likely to remember 50 years later than the freight car being unloaded behind it.

. Look forward to seeing the details.

I like the idea of using a brand name.

Great looking station!  Art Deco is my favorite style of architecture.

Thank you all for the very kind words! I ll opt for an actual brand name then, many thanks for the suggestion Deem and James.

Yannis,

Art Deco is an architectural style that I really like and your gas station really fits the style.  Looking forward to seeing the details added.
