The figures look great Larry.  Wonderful job.

That is one hell of a shelf of dioramas.
I think your right a bigger shelf might be in your future!!

Jerry thank you for your kind words. Hopefully I can get by with what shelves I have for awhile.

These trees are Woodland Scenics fresh out of the container. Not too bad looking except for the "plastic look of the trunks" on the left. The tree on the right had the trunk modified. Used a base color of brown and clear alcohol; when dry a dry brushing of a light brown followed by grey. Also I thought the foliage was way too much so I thinned out the one on the right then bent the branches down a little to look more natural.



Here are the 2 trees redone and glued in place minus the bases from the first photo. They had a pin on the bottom which allowed them to be glued in place. After they dried then I added the scenery material. Also added a few details on the knoll but kept it sparse so as not to look too "junked up".



Here's the one end looking down the back of the Repair Shed. Used lots of grass and weeds with not as much dirt. I actually was able to get the area blended in to look like a solid knoll.

Here's a closeup of some of the details. Two old tires with weeds growing out of the middle, part of the old steam engine, an old bent rusty barrel, and part of an old dynamo.



This is looking down the other end of the back of the Repair Shed. I'm quite pleased the way this turned out and also helps eliminate some of the flatness of the diorama. Next I want to add a few details to the front side of the Shed including a LP inside. That's about it for now and thanks to all who stop by for a look-see. Much more to come so stay tuned.
