I figured it was spitting cause it's a Ford.

Great scene!

Philip thanks. Hey, easy on the Ford name....they don't call it "Fix Or Repair Daily" for nutt'in.

But one thing about the 'legacy' auto makers is they emphasize repairability.  You do NOT want to get a repair on a Tesla, which was designed for quick assembly, not repair.

I always used Ford as aka, 'Flip on roof Destroy'

or

'`ucked over rebuilt Dodge'

or

'Fastest on race day'

Larry C

Philip now that's funny!!!!!! Thanks for the clip.

Finished up the ground cover with dirt, grass, weeds, and a few more flowers. Behind the Shed I added a bunch of leftover material from when I made the tree foliage thinner to serve as overgrowth; hate to waste anything.

From this end it gives you a good view of the Mercantile side and the Repair Shed as well as the belt line towers.

Here's one of the mini scenes....an old rusted barrel with the top area blackened from fires. Added some ashes around the barrel along with more wood that needs to be burned up. The guy is keeping an eye on the burn barrel for safety's sake.

This is from another angle. I'm quite pleased with the way this little scene turned out. Next I'll start working on the 2nd mini scene and get that added to the diorama. After that I'm going to look at the diorama for a few days to see If I want to add anymore mini scenes and also for general touchups. Thanks for stopping by and for all your great comments; they really keep me going.

Looks great Larry. Nice scene at the burn barrel. Is this diorama going to "drop" into your layout or will it be a stand alone diorama?

Curt thank you. Actually my layout was dismantled about a year ago; just wasn't into running trains anymore. I pulled all the track, made a few buildings into dioramas, sold off the rest then repainted the foam. This area, along with a new shelf, is where I display all my dioramas. To answer your question, yes this is a stand alone diorama.

Very nice Larry.
I see a lot of Brian Nolan influence here which isn't a bad thing.

Larry I have been having that same discussion with myself.
