Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Rick. I'll spray the stucco once the stucco and base layer of paint has cured. I'll probably get to it on Friday.

The painters are coming Friday. I have lots of prep work to do. Taking stuff off the walls like plant hangers, etc.

My train shed needs all the RR signs removed as well as the neighbors, shrubs cut away from the shed rear.

I'll be off the forum until Friday or Saturday.

A a great rest of the week everyone.

Good Morning,

Rick best of luck getting things setup for your new home. Nice photo of the family of geese.

Tom hope all goes well with the painters.

What's your plans for the day.

It's a sunny 67 with a high of 76. Need to go to the hardware store and get some new innards for the toilet along with a new supply line....the joys of owning a home. After that maybe I'll weed the flower garden and get the new tags on the Buick.

Have a great and safe day!!! Be well.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening Rick. Did you report the Canadian terrorist to authorities? ;D

Started out the day with a walk at 76F heading to the high 90's today with high humidity. Yesterday I got the first layer of ground cover down.

Today is floor day then I'll head to the workbench to see what needs patched before moving on.

Tom good luck, I don't envy you.

Larry I hadn't realized you posted a new chapter. It was definitely entertaining but for adults only. :)

Good Morning! Hopefully some nice weather ahead.

Not sure if I will build a rendition of that kit. I think I might work on some shelf orphans first?

I sent Rick and Jerry a pdf copy. If anyone wants a copy PM me.

The oven door spring broke last night. I need to address that this am. It's built in so a lil fun :o

Have a great day!

Good morning folks,

Huevos rancheros are on the counter. Soft drinks and coffee are there, too.

Rick, thanks for the photo.  Good luck with the home setup.

TomACL, sounds like a lot of paint prep.  Good luck!

Larry, good luck with the 1:1.

Curt, thanks for the locomotive photos.

Philip, good luck with the oven door.

Jerry, hope you make it to the bench today.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a hazy morning with more rain in the forecast.  The AC is out upstairs, so I need to work on that today.  Yesterday I stained the tank car deck boards and prepared the tank supports.  I hope to glue on the deck boards today.

Have fun,
mike

Good morning everyone,

Current weather is 18c (65f) and the sun is out.  ;D

Didn't check in yesterday as I got stuck in meetings most of the day, necessary but not very productive.  I did make it to the bench yesterday.  I ended up working on the DCC-EX issues, solved the motor shield issue and now I need to flash the proper firmware in the WIFI shield.  I'll document the issue fixes on my DEE-EX thread later, hopefully tonight but there is a hockey game tonight.

Have a great day everyone.

Hazy bright sky on the Lake Shore, nice and pleasant this morning. Calm

We just had a short visit from the cement guy that did all the work on our place. He's doing a job near us and out for a stretch waiting for time to finish a slab for one of the new places 2/10 S of us. Since we paid for the power to be installed nearly every lot along our private road has been sold. Jake mentioned he is going to put in a foundation N of us for a young couple from Green Bay to build a new cabin.

Sure loving the fiber internet here. Beats anything available at home. 446 down 425 up.

Morel mushrooms are in season here. Jake's boy just walked up with half a dozen the size of your fist.

Enuf for now. Be well.
