Good morning everyone and welcome to the newest lounge.
I'm so happy this thread has remained active and it's the best way to start my day.
Thank you to everyone that participates.

36 in Sioux Falls, sun, clouds and with later with a high of 77.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
Let's celebrate the new lounge with steak and eggs today.

I hope all are well.

Star and I walked around in town yesterday at Falls Park.
This is where the Big Sioux River runs through town and down a series of falls.

Gym first this morning then I have some research to do.

This was on the Buzzards Roost Trail in Rapid City.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick. Are you planning where to go next?

Starting out the day doing my laundry. Dad flies in around 1 pm. Have some chores then I'll be starting on the resin crates which will take a couple of days.

Yesterday I finished the resin barrels and all of the remaining white metal parts. Probably not much modeling in the next couple of days.

I found this beauty at the EBT station.

Morning Gents,

Rick thanks for opening in our new, shiny lounge. I can't think of a better way to start my day off than checking in here. Steak &eggs? yum....yum and I'll grab a coffee while I'm at it. Seeing a large river running through a town must be quite the site. Nice photo thanks for sharing.

Curt sounds like details are the order of the day; enjoy. That is one sweeeet looking truck!!! Very well preserved.

How's the rest of the gang.

It's a sunny 38 with a high of 51. Grocery shopping shortly then it's lawn mowing/trimming time; the first of the season. If I have any energy left I'll whack away at the dirt pile some more; almost there getting it finished.

Have a great and safe day!! Be well.

Good morning, all.  Heavy overcast along the Gulf of Maine, 50F now rising to mid 60s later.  No sun till Tuesday.

Off to Seashore in a bit, but returning early for Selectmen.  I have more old track pictures to post, maybe tonight.

8) Sun again but cool, 30s, this am in MI.

Headed out shortly for the followup check of the Doll's eyes, then back home to mow this afternoon.

Little else to add.

Thanks again to all that keep this place running, a first step of my day most days. :D

Thanks to Rick for opening the new lounge (the old one is locked and preserved for posterity.)  No German class today, so I have a free morning, once I finish the morning Internet routine and time on the exercise machine.

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for opening and shepherding us along.  Good luck with your research.

Curt, thanks for the photo of the cool truck.

Larry, good luck with the dirt pile.

James, hope you enjoy the Seashore.

Karl, how is the Doll liking her new eyes?

TomACL, hope you make it to the bench.

Dave, funny about our morning routines.  We all have them.

How goes the rest of the group?

It's a mild morning, overcast, and no rain.  I started the morning at a community breakfast.  The guys meet once a month on the 11th for a bit of kibitzing.  Headed to the bank for some lodge financial business, then to the department store to buy pants. Sharon should be home from her trip this afternoon.

I started decaling the boxcar.  Today I need to apply another coat of Microsol, then I'll overcoat with Dullcoat.  I worked on the layout yesterday, beginning landscaping around the depot, water tank, and maintenance shed.

Have fun,
mike

The joint lives on! ;D

I haven't done a lick of modeling recently. The garden has been in full focus this spring.

Good morning it's 11:48am in Wisconsin. High today should be 62. Bright Sun few clouds but winds in the teens and gusts in the 30's. Still it looks nice

I have been busy but prefer it that way at the bench on my stuff or my friends. The weathering adventures are down to about 10 commission pieces a week and that's just fine. Regulars who have  been with me from almost the beginning when I started advertising.

The paper mill will be a gift that has become something of its own but there is no timetable. 2' wide x 32' long is a lot of space until you try to fit a paper mill into it. But I'm having fun and that's the main thing

Enjoy your day
