Good Morning,

Rick thinks for the coffee and breakfast. What a gorgeous photo!! They say rain this afternoon so probably I'll be able to score some bench time.

Curt have fun figure painting; hope you have a magnifier to see those tiny LP's.

Karl wish the Doll a belated Happy Birthday for me. Glad to hear her vision is much better besides having a nice dinner out.

What are your plans today.

It's a cloudy 54 with a high of 59 and like I mentioned rain; probably what Karl had. Going to grab some time at the bench and add another chapter to my blog. Other than that I plan on a relaxing day.

Have an enjoyable safe day!!! Be well.

Speaking of dogs and ice cream...  My previous dog, Jersey, would get ice cream after every visit to the vet oncologist.  The ice cream place knew our standing order "kiddie cup of regular vanilla with an extra cup."

After she passed, I gave a copy of this picture to the ice cream store.

My eye is better, but the mismatched eyes are still driving me crazy.  I did get cheap readers so I can read book-size type.  But I'm not sure I'll be able to do any modeling until the other eye is done.

Good Morning;

My better half is in a competition today for dragon boats (war canoes). She was off today at 6 am. So I will walk the dogs and after breakfast head over to be her groupie. I watched the Starship launch on TV yesterday. Looks like they are making a lot of progress on that rocket.  Pretty amazing stuff.

Well off to get ready hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning everyone,

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Rick, safe driving back to Sioux Falls.

Curt, have fun with the figure painting.

Karl, have fun at the bench, if you make it there.

Larry, hope the time at the bench is productive.

Dave, Glad the eye is better, my wife had the same issues when she her her cataract surgeries, the time between surgeries was difficult, once the second one was done her eye site improved dramatically.  Hang in there.

Jim, hope your wife does well in the races.

Jerry, have fun at the bench this weekend.

Philip, have a great day.

Current weather is 17c (63f) and cloudy with no rain in the forecast today, but rain tomorrow.  This afternoon's plan is to cut the grass, walk Gracie and watch the F1 sprint race.  Tonight it's hockey and maybe some time at the bench.

Have a great day everyone.

Afternoon all,

Been busy just cleaning up everything in and out.

Rick, Pam did pick out the house colors. I repainted the house every 8 years for the past 40+ years but no longer desire to hang upside down on the ladder painting the trim. I did it all back then with brush and roller. Now, everyone has a sprayer. I still don't want to get on a ladder that far off the ground. Nuff said! Pam already has a painter lined up.

I see I've missed a couple surgeries and birthdays here. So. Hope all are healing well and happy belated birthday to all who have been celebrating the fine event.  ;D

Well, time to count all my money. All 5$ worth.

Have a wonderful day and stay safe.

Tom

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Was supposed to do a walk this morning but skipped it due to having thunderstorms most of the night. Yesterday was productive...mostly. It started off with the pool cleaner not working. I did all the idiot checks but no go. I'll probably end up getting a manual one. I did get the 3-D figures painted. I'll post a picture later. MOH, son and myself got the garage cleaned up and the van unloaded of the skunk rescue equipment and stored in the garage. Needless to say I was pretty beat after all of that.

Today after chores it's cleanup time at the workbench putting things away in prep for landscaping. This coming week the only thing scheduled (so far) is that Dad gets his new hearing aids late Thursday.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Curt. Nice picture of the W loco.

We got some very much needed rain last night and more on the way.

Emee finishes here eye drops this morning and hopefully we can get back to normal. Emee has had a full week of the collar on her neck.

Couple of errands this morning and then I'll spend time getting stucco on Horwood Bros.

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Good morning everyone.

It will be sunny and mid 80's today in Sioux Falls.

Curt, thanks for the coffee, breakfast and pictures.
You sure had a productive day and hope the pool vacuum is an easy fix.
Star always gets some ice cream.

ACLTom, hope the stucco goes well.

Ron, any guess on who will win the race today?

Philip, hope you get some sunshine today.

Jerry, hope there are more shingles on the walls today.

Jim, how'd the wife do in her dragon boat?

Dave, glad the eye is better.

Larry, nice update that you posted.

Karl, I'm sure the farmers are happy with the rain.

How's everyone else.

Spent most of the day driving yesterday.
Made to about 50 miles from Sioux Falls.
I go the rest of the way this morning.
I'll go to one of the parks and do a nice walk on the bike trail with Star.

Morning Gents,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Really nice photos and hope the pool situation works out. Looking forward to seeing all your LP's all painted up.

Tom hope the eyedrops did the trick for Emee. Have fun getting plastered.

Rick safe travels this am and enjoy your walk with Star. Nice photo but what's up with the white stuff. Thanks for the post compliment.

What's the rest of you doing.

It's a rainy 50 with a high of 59; supposed to stop raining by noonish so They say. Worked on the other disconnect yesterday and more today. Also need to catch up on some Trek stuff as well. That's about it from my part of the world.

Have a great and safe day!! Be well.

Good morning and Happy Sunday to all! 80 later today. Last Monday it didn't make it to 50. Come visit Wisconsin where you can wear your 4 season wardrobe in 7 days!

The work session went ok, a bit disorganized but as a crew we adapted! Finally though saw a train move! I was exhausted when we got back home though. The doctors have to find out why I feel like this. I cancelled out of a ops session yesterday and another Tuesday.

Went for popcorn yesterday. Rural Route 1 popcorn in Monfort, Wi.  is some of the best popcorn I've ever eaten. Plus out in the middle of the cornfields is an old CNW concrete coaling tower. The line was abandoned in the early 60's but the tower still stands.  46 miles one way but worth it and they was next to nothing traffic. Terry drove and I'm pretty comfortable in the copilot seat.

We grilled to many brats yesterday for the 2 of us so today instead of hamburger we will finish the brats. Hamburgers tomorrow now instead of today. 7 ears of corn are on the menu for this evening!

Enjoy your day

Philip

I'll be right over Tom!  ;D

Great photos Curt! Same here rain rain rain!

Good morning, all. Light rain started earlier over the lower Merrimack valley. We're most of the way to our forecast high of 55F.  More rain tomorrow, but forecast to be warmer.  Yesterday's memorial for a Seashore friend did me some good. We'd both been at the same college and worked in high tech in the Boston area but didn't meet till 45 years later at the trolley museum. The informal part of the event was at a surviving farm where he and his son volunteered. He was an amateur musician and the 25-member band he'd played with performed half a dozen songs. And his trolley friends came from far, far away.  After dinner, I got back to organizing my 6400-track music collection (I like owning tunes a lot better than renting).

Curt, thanks for the WM Scenic picture. I realized that when I visit the kid near Harrisburg, I'll only be 2 hours from Cumberland instead of 9.  His choice has already given me first visits to Strasburg and Orbisionia, and Altoona was on my mind. Cass isn't a day trip from that part of PA but the museums in Baltimore are.

A few more storms to come off the upper floors, then layout work all day.  I'm on the list of afternoon layout tours after a HUB/Seacoast NMRA Railfun in Derry NH on June 6.

Grey and cool, upper 50s this morning, 10:30 ish.  Rain has left but it is dull out.

Plans are to watch the Indy 500, been part of my "Memorial Day" for close to 75 years, tv less.

I may also see some of the NASCAR race from Charlotte.  Giant cloud over that series with the passing of Kyle Busch.  So sad.

Geek squad will be along sometime today, as well.

Bench or layout in there, I painted a fuel tank for a locomotive yesterday, needs some dull on it today.  One of my 90%ers.  Been damned near done for a year or more.  Get it up to 95% soon.

Lots of nice photos here the last week or so, the WM steamer is great to see.  Rick, keep the snow.

Be well.
