Good morning everyone.

59 right now, sunny and 88 later.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
Breakfast burritos filled with eggs, chorizo and cheddar cheese for breakfast today.

Mike, hope you get time to get upstairs soon.

James, make good progress upstairs yesterday?

Philip, shop's clean now so get back to business.

Jerry and Ron, it's nice that it's another race weekend but this is by far the most boring race.

Karl, hope you got the needed rain.

Larry, anything good present itself?

ACLTom, still being able to do things yourself outweighs doing it fast.

Curt, those next two kits you'll be building should keep you busy for a long time.

How's everyone else?

Didn't go to the gym yesterday because I felt that I needed a rest day.
Resting is done now and there will be gym time this morning.
Visited Old Courthouse Museum in town yesterday.
It has a mix of Indian artifacts, parades that happened in town through the years, a display of old kitchens and cookware but I found the room with old clocks to be the most interesting.

A much nicer view at the Good Earth SP.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick. Beautiful landscape.

Started out the day with a walk at 69F and little humidity. It's supposed to start getting back to June temps again. The brief respite was nice. Yesterday I put together the display case and mounted the diorama on the wall, after that I ran an errand with MOH.

Today will be slow, just some arranging of paints and supplies at the workbench and seeing what needs ordered before the Shipyard is started late next week.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning, Rick, Curt and later arrivals.  Lower Merrimack Valley is 60-ish, overcast and damp. Mid-day they guess 79 with a chance of showers.  Rick, I didn't get as much done yesterday as I'd hoped, laundry took time, internet took time.  But cleanup continues right after breakfast.

Clear and bright in Michigan this morning after a full on Cats and Dogs event yesterday.  Great soak all day long.

Worked with a couple things on the bench yesterday, made little progress but kept the day going.

Big Boy 4014 in traveling thru Indiana and Ohio today, I have a couple Fostoria area Web Cams up to see if I can see anything. It's due thru there around 2 o'clock.  Place will be a zoo.

I'd imagine the mowing machine might get a bit of use sometime today or tomorrow.

No further plans.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Rick. Nice photo also, looks peaceful.

I agree in that even at my age, I'm still able to walk without assistance and edge and cut my own grass. I may not be as quick as I once was but I'm still very active.

Pam wants to go back to the flea market in Mt. Dora. I'll go and see if the train guy has any new/old stock. Not like I need more freight cars but if they are like the others, why pass on the deal?

I'll have an update on Horwood Bros. later this afternoon.

Have a wonderful day and stay safe everyone.

Good Morning,

Wow y'all are up early today.

Rick thanks for the coffee and breakfast; also for the gorgeous photo. The museum sounds interesting; glad you enjoyed the old clocks.

Curt reorganizing after a completed build make the next one that much easier when you know where everything is and not in a jumbled mess.

James hope the cleanup goes well.

Karl fingers crossed you get some good shots of the Big Boy; that would be quite the sight for sure.

Tom enjoy the flea market and hope you strike gold. Looking forward to your update.

What's your agenda.

It's a cloudy rainy 68 with a high of 80. I guess we're getting Karl's rainy weather; should be a needed all day event. Yesterday I managed to get the Escape's interior detailed taking care of the aftermath of winter. Also spent a little time at the bench. Daughter's coming over about 1ish and plan on firing up the grill; of course if it rains then I'll be grilling at the end of the garage.

Have an enjoyable and safe day!!! Be well.

Good morning,

Rick, thanks for the coffee, breakfast, and Good Earth photo.

Curt, the shipyard looks to be another fun project.

Karl, have fun on the mowing machine.

TomACL, wishing you fun at the flea market.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a bright morning with no rain in the forecast.  Yesterday, I added braces to an old raised garden where I grow herbs. I recycled wood from my wife's Thanksgiving yard decorations.  The wood was not finished, i.e., rough, and I planned to use the planer borrowed from SIL.  Sadly, mice had eaten the rubber drive belts, so I just used it rough.  The 1:1 projects are done for now.  I hope to return to the bench today to work on the tank car.

Have fun,
mike

It's a pleasant morning, and our yard guys are working on freshening the mulch.  Light rain predicted later today, with more rain tomorrow.

While I'm still 'optically challenged', I've been doing a lot of cleaning and organizing.  I got a couple cheap storage shelves for the basement, and I'll organize some boxes of empthy jars, etc I got for scenery materials.  My goal is to have nothing sitting directly on the basement floor "Just In Case"

A typical quiet Saturday. Gena is milling around in the garden.

Fogged the basement and vacuumed for those tiny spiders and fired up the 3d printer this morning. Furnace filter change is due but fresh out.

Have a great week-end!
