Good Morning Everyone;

Thought I would catch up on what is happening. Rick what a great photo. I downloaded it to use as my computer screensaver that is how incredible I think it is.

Yesterday I was able to catch the US soccer match. It is great seeing them playing well and making it to the next round. Today I am boxing up the promised detail parts from the Winter challenge. My better half has offered to take over actually shipping them since she knows all about that and I know nothing.

Tomorrow my daughter and son-in-law are visiting for fathers day, a nice surprise. It will be pool day and hamburgers on the grill. Well off to take the pus outside, hope everyone has a great day.

65o sunny and chilly breeze, going to mid 70s, overnight rain left 0.10" of rain in the gage! ;D

Pretty much out of 'me' time this morning.  1:1 and bills to do after I eat something.

Soccer fans, enjoy the wonderful grass on those fields, developed by the award winning Turf Grass research unit at Michigan State.  Each field has grass raised from MSU's seed in local turf producers.  About the only thing generating any pride from my school these days, a political hot mess if ever there's been one. Sad and disgusting.

Later all, be well.

Jerry,

Yes I'm still modeling the "N-scale" Stuff.  I have already started the module set and since I an no longer traveling for work, I found a space in the crew lounge to set them up rather than them living boxed up in the garage for the rest of there lives.  My modeling ratio is about 90% On30, 10% N-scale.

I talked to the owner of the Farm this morning and the good news is the only crops lost was some seedlings which he says he can live with. Two hoop houses were involved. The small one was used for stage where the fire started. The second had already been harvested so nothing was lost there. It's tough seeing stuff like this happen to a farmer; they're 3rd generation and I knew his Father since they did business with Wegmans Produce for years.

Curt it sucks when you volunteer for things and you feel like you're getting taken advantage of; hang in there.

Tom hope you can cheer Pam up today and it's great you're willing to try to help.

Rick

Good morning everyone.

60 here now, cloudy with a chance of rain all day with a high of 70.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
2 eggs the way you like them, bacon and/or sausage patties and home fries for breakfast today.

Karl, that's a beautiful sky.

Larry, sounds like the farmer didn't do too bad and I hope he can repair or rebuild easily.

Ron, any On30 layout progress lately?

Jim, thank you very much for the kind words on my photo.

Jerry, are you sure what you're doing today?

Dave, it's amazing the progress that's being made with camera sensors.

Curt, I hope getting lightheaded isn't anything serious.

Philip, more outdoor chores today?

TomO, how was dinner at the new place?

ACLTom, can't believe it's already been a year.

Mike, did you end up seeing Disclosure Day and how was it if you did?

How's everyone else.

Met up with the camera club and got some good info on macro photography.
Most of it was gear relates.
The DVM told me it would take 6 weeks to get my new license.
I guess they're working overtime because it showed up yesterday.
Gym this morning.
Rain will probably mean the rest of the day will be indoors.

Another photo taken on the same hike as the one I posted yesterday.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning,

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to one and all!!!!!!

Rick thanks for the coffee and breakfast. The Farmer did loose the small hoop house, that's where the fire started, but the lake one just needs a new topper. Great news on the license; so now your an official SD resident I gather.

What's your plans for the day?

It's a sunny 61 with a high of 76. Daughter's coming over early afternoon for Father's Day and pizza with mozzarella sticks will ensue. Maybe a little bench time shortly.

Enjoy your day safely!! Be well.

Good morning folks,

Happy Father's Day~

Rick, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast.  Nice photo!  I saw Disclosure Day and enjoyed it.  I looked at it as entertainment and not a documentary.

Larry, wishing you a fantastic visit with your Daughter.

Karl, terrific photo.  Thanks!

How is the rest of the crew?

I'm back in Georgia today.  We are having Father's Day lunch at Star of India, which always promises to be tasty.  Later, we'll watch baseball, Braves and Oklahoma vs North Carolina college world series.

Have fun,
mike

Good morning everyone,

Happy Father's Day everyone

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Rick, that was a very fast response from the DMV.

Larry, glad to hear that the farmer's loss was small.  Enjoy the time with your daughter today.

Karl, have a great day.

Mike, glad you got back sagely, enjoy the ball games.

Current weather is 17c (63f) with even more rain in the forecast.  Spent part of the day yesterday cleaning out the layout room, next step is the fun job of cleaning off the layout.  That should start later today.  But first I need to make the weekly grocery run.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning All,

This is my second try today.

Happy Fathers Day to all the Dad's out there.

The pet care continues to be overwhelming and I just found out an adult animal is being surrendered to the rescue Wednesday. SMH. I'm so over it at this point. :-X I have a busy week ahead with taking grandson to job interviews, and a VA appointment for me.

Yes grandson (19) is living in my dining room as of Friday after burning ALL of his bridges. It's us or the street, but it's a tough love. I took him yesterday and got him a professional looking haircut.

Well that's it from here. No modeling in sight.

I hope everyone has a good day.

TomO/Tloc

Good morning from Wisconsin

Yesterday the new to us restaurant said even though I had a confirmed reservation acknowledgement number they had no reservations for us and the wait was maybe 90 minutes. I was outwardly cool, calm and collected (though really ticked off)and said ok and we left. The person asked as we were leaving the foyer if we were staying? Dinner turned into an excellent meal at a close by frequently visited Mexican place. We got in the car and checked the website and it was 7:20 and seating was immediate. So we went there.

Today I was told after hinting I might head north to help again on the layout that we were invited to the daughter's place. It's a Father Day party with about 50 RSVPs per the wife. Because the daughter is worried about weather issues her craft shop is the backup plan so I can't even go work on anything. It's fine, I'll relax after the grandson cuts the 3 lawns and my place this morning. He should be here anytime

Enjoy the day
TomO

Early afternoon all,

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL THE FATHERS.

Thanks for breakfast Rick.

The kids called today and two of my three sisters called as well.

Pam has a few friends over and they are in the pool. Looks like a gaggle of geese out there.

Have a safe and happy Sunday everyone.
