Karl, please stay safe.

I just saw a post that a town in SD experienced wind speeds of 130 mph.
It wasn't a tornado and it wasn't near my house.

Howdy Karl, glad you pulled over.  Safe travels,  ~mike

We made it to the bunker at the cedar swamp safely about 4:30 and assumed command.

That was about the worst rain I can remember in my many, oh so many years!  The sheer dumba$$ery of some drivers is beyond imagination.  :o

An awful lot of folks headed North for a Monday. Early start on the big ta-do this weekend I suppose.

All is in good shape at the lake side, humid but ~70, not 90+ like home.

Northern Command out- ;D

Glad to hear you're hunkered down at Northern Command, Karl.

Good Morning,

The morning beverages are all set to go. Breakfast, since it's hot out, is assorted muffins with your choice of toppings.

Karl glad you made it North and keep cool & well hydrated.

What's your plans?

It's 69 with a high of 90. We're on a heat advisory today then Wed - Sat an extreme heat advisory with temps in the upper 90's and feel likes of 100 - 105 with scattered T-storms possible....yikes. Hopefully we keep power or it'll be down to the B'day suit. Maybe some modeling this am. Forgot to mention my SW order was in Maine yesterday and NH today. Really? NY is a few Staes south so maybe tomorrow? The USPS is getting to be a joke.

Have a great day!! Be well, keep cool, and stay well hydrated.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Larry.

Good to hear Karl made it to the Northern Command.

I did manage to edge and cut the grass yesterday. Today though, I'm feeling the sting. I'll be happy to have this crap behind me.

Pam has bowling practice today, I'll go and watch but won't even attempt to bowl.

I did get a little done on the Horwood build but haven't prepped any photos for the update. Maybe later today or tomorrow.

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Good morning,

Larry, thanks for opening and breakfast. Good luck with the SW order.

TomACL, good luck with the sting.  I'm sure it is not fun.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a bright morning in Alabama. The lake is peaceful this morning, but it is going to be another scorcher later.  I plan to sit on the porch, watch the lake/river and enjoy morning coffee.

Have fun,
mike

Good Morning;

We are in the 80's and heading to 90's again today. Yesterday had a rock and roller storm which gave us an inch of rain which we can really use. Today I plan on fixing up my work area and make some more parts for the pickle factory build. Not sure what else I will get myself into.

Have a great day.

The dogs are at the groomers, so the house is unnaturally quiet.

Today's the build-up day for several days of hot weather for the rest of the week.  Looks like the heat will break Sunday.  But in the meantime, I've closed all the windows so we don't end up trying to cool the outside.  In a bit, I'll head back downstairs, work on the exercise machine, then do some more lighting work.

Morning everyone

Larry thanks for the coffee & breakfast.
Please no pictures of you in your B-suit!!!  :-[ ;D :o ??? ::)

Tom glad your feeling much better.

Mike enjoy the day.

Jim looking forward to the progress of the pickle factory.

Weather in South Jersey is sunny/82.  Later on 90.
Yesterday was a beach day.
Diane's son and his girlfriend came down.
So no bench time.
Will try to shingle later after my room cools down.

Everyone have a wonderful day!!  :)

Morning Larry and crew. Just coffee. USPS is testing always.

Tree trimmers are coming for the next 2 days. Three trees are being removed.
Insane heat already.

Have a good one.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Larry, sounds like your SW order is taking a tour of the eastern seaboard.

Tom, hope the "sting" goes away real soon.

Mike, have a great day.

Jim, hope the cleanup goes well.

Dave, Spa days for the dogs. 😊  I know when Gracie goes, I sometime wonder if we are getting the same dog back.

Jerry, Will today be a beach day also?

Philip, hope there are new issues with the tree removal.

Karl, glad you made it to Northern Command safely.

Current temperature is 21c (70f) overcast with thunder storms later today.  At least today is the last day of work for me this week. 😊  No modeling last night, we shall see what tonight brings.

Have a great day everyone.

Quite nice. We sat on the deck and watched the lightning flash from stormy weather to the north out over Lake Michigan. It's quite humid and this morning it's rather warm. Almost like they got us up here and now we're going to crank the heat index up.

Mowing, weed whacking and spraying in the plans.

Time to find a charger.

Be well all.

TomO/Tloc

Good afternoon from Pasadena. It is 70f degrees now with 63% humidity. We left Madison at 6:30am and it was 79 and humidity was 73%. I just looked and it's only 90f degrees there but feels like 101 with 72% humidity. We made a good decision to come this week. Next week it's Scottsdale, Ar where I rarely look at the temperature because it's always hot!

Tomorrow is the Reagan Presidential Museum and I will find the new location of the Original Whistle Stop in Pasadena. It's supposed to be 3 or 4 blocks away. I have a list of books to look for...

Karl enjoy the Northern Command.

Enjoy the evening!
