Good morning everyone,

Thanks for the3 coffee and breakfast Curt, sounds like your making good progress on the kit.

Current weather is 21c (70f) and partly cloudy, thew haze is getting lighter.  High is supposed to hit 25c (77f)

Had a busy morning already with a trip to Costco ($$) and a vet visit ($$$  :o  ) for Gracie's post-op visit.  She got a clean bill of health and we can start taking her for walks again.  ;D Half walks to get her used to going on walks again for a week before she can go on full walks.

Spent the evening last night continuing the research on shadowboxes and getting Idea's.  Should be fun.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning everyone.

It's 52 in Salida, sunny all day with a high of 76.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
Huevos Rancheros for breakfast this morning.

ACLTom, I enjoyed seeing your update.

Ron, I'm sure Gracie was very happy to be out for a walk.

Jerry, any shingling?

Philip, hope there's less sweating today.

Larry, glad your smoke is gone.

Mike, good morning.

Curt, I'm thinking we'll see an update soon.

Karl, are you back home?
Belated Happy Birthday to your step son.

How's everyone else.

Star and I did a nice 9 mile hike yesterday.
Decided to stay another night here at the trailhead.
Back to town today for a gym visit and to do laundry.
After that I think I'm going to head closer to the Great Sand Dunes NP.
I haven't been to that park yet.

I had some unexpected visitors at camp the other morning: https://youtube.com/shorts/foqzbVp_Sc4

This was taken on a hike I did last week on the Salt Lick to Lily Pad Lake Trail.

PRR Modeler

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is catch as catch can. There is a fully stocked pantry and fridge. Just clean up after yourself.

Just got done feeding and picking up food dishes from the 4 legged critters. It's amazing how they think they need to eat immediately. SMH. Sitting here drinking a cup of coffee in the quiet, too late, Dad just shuffled into the kitchen. I swear in the mornings he looks like a zombie.

After chores I'll head to the workbench to continue working on the kit.

Doc appointment didn't go so well. My kidney and liver values were both very high. I gave blood immediately after the long illness and we both think it was from the prolonged GI issues and dehydration. Anyway, more blood work on Monday. Getting old sucks.

Tom it is great to see you modeling again.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Curt, it's well known dogs have -2- senses of time, "Right Now" and "Forever."  Example:  "You need to feed me Right Now, because it's been Forever since I last ate."  Hope your blood conditions improve rapidly, so you don't need more trips to the Vampire.

Rick, nice set of visitors.  Just don't get in the middle of the herd...

Scotch Club is unlikely this afternoon, weather doesn't look promising.  More time on the layout, I guess.

Good Morning,

Rick thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Nice photo and have safe travels. Yes It was nice to see the sun shining brightly and blue sky.

Curt animals have a way of wanting stuff right then and there. My daughter had a rescue boxer years ago and when he thought it was time to eat he'd walk over place his muzzle on her leg, look at her with his sad brown eyes and whine. She'd tell him "It's not time yet" so he'd go off and return about fifteen minutes later and do the same thing until it was time for him to eat. Have fun at the bench. Hope the blood values decline soon.

Dave good analogy about pets. Have fun modeling.

It's a cloudy 71 with a high of 83 and maybe some rain which would be a good thing. Daughters coming over this afternoon for a visit and dinner.....pork roast already in the crockpot, gravy, yams, and broccoli with cheese are on tap. Not sure about any bench time.

Hav a great and safe day!! Be well.

Morning Crew,

Tending to some orders this am.
I got the tin weathered yesterday in about a sweaty outside hour!

Sorry to hear Curt. Hoping it was a false reading.

Good morning everyone,

Thanks for the coffee and breakfasts Rick and Curt.

Curt, hope the kidney and liver values come down quickly.  Have fun at the bench.

Tom, glad to see your at the bench again.

Current weather is 18c (64f) and rain.  Was supposed to go to my mom's today and do some weeding for her, hopefully the rain will stop and I'll get there later today. If not, I'll do it tomorrow.  Did some "spring" cleaning yesterday so nothing railroad related got done.  Today's plan is to spend some time working on the railroad. I'm thinking laying the ties for the turnout required in the main layout room that will connect the main layout to the staging yard and adding the track feeders to the staging yard.

Have a great day everyone.

Dave just take the bottle of the Scotch down to the layout and have one with the little people!!  ;D

Larry have a nice visit with your daughter.

Philip pictures???

Ron that sounds like a plan.

Weather in South Jersey is cloudy/78.  Later on 83 possible showers.
No I did not get to those shingles again. :(

Good morning,

Rick, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast. Those are some BIG horns.

Curt, good luck with the kidney and liver.

Dave, hope the weather improves.

Larry, the meal for your daughter sounds delicious.

Philip, congrats on the orders and tin weathering.

Ron, connecting to staging means fun operations.

Jerry, hope you make it to the bench.

How goes the rest of the crew?

It's another warm and humid day in Georgia.  Today will be mostly 1:1 projects.  Tonight we are going to see You're a good man Charlie Brown at a local theater.

Have fun,
mike

Jerry, I might be able to match an LP, drink for drink.  The problem, of course, is filling those little glasses....

Mid morning all,

I was here earlier but got side tracked and forgot to check in.

I just finished edging the yard and after this little break I'll cut the grass.

Nice video Rick. That must have been a surprise.

I'll have another update on my Horwood build later this afternoon.

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

:o Sunny, much less smoke and mid 80s HOT has me sequestered in the house. We mowed this morning. That got me going early. Currently the Geek Squad is here. The Doll and daughter are in the gourd garden. I'm inside with SIL and grand geek both on their phones.

Cousin sent me this for a morning treat.  :o  :o  Crank up the Stereo!
