Dental cleaning this afternoon.

Pulled all the corn stalks yesterday and carted them to the burn pile. The ground is still very saturated.

Current weather is 24c (75f) with sunny skies, as usual the sun comes out on a working day.  No modeling again yesterday as I was feeling a little under the weather (feel better today) but I did get other stuff done so it still was a good day.  I'm hoping to get to the turntable build tonight after dinner.

Coffee is on, and soft drinks are in the fridge.  Breakfast today is huevos rancheros and fresh fruit.

I'm going to be away from the computer for a few weeks. More about that later.

Karl, I don't know if you watch Clarkson's Farm on Netflix, but they showed tractors and other farm equipment run by AI and GPS.
It was very interesting to see.

TomO, I haven't come across any of those trolls yet.

Larry, hope the doctors find out what's causing the numbness and it isn't anything serious.

Dave, congratulations on losing only 10% of your NBW's.

I made it to Durango and the Durango-Silverton Yard.
Can't roam around the yard like I did in Silverton.
They do have tours but didn't feel like hang around a couple of hours for it to start.
I did walk through the museum and took pictures there.
After leaving there I drove to Mesa Verde NP.
Found a nice spot to spend the night 2 miles from the park.
It's too hot here and I'll go to the park early today to beat the heat.
Later I'll head back to the mountains in Silverton where I hope It's cooler.
I started a thread on the Silverton Yard yesterday.

This is the Ice Lake Basin which sits below Ice Lake.

It's a sunny 60 with a high of 88 and they're calling for hot & muggy...yuk. Hope to do an update and be at the bench since the last 2 days has been a bust in that regard.

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick. Great photos. There's a hard rock mine tour in the Silverton area that we did. The mining life is not for me!

Started out the day with a walk at 76F with moderate humidity. Yesterday actually went well. SIL showed up early and we loaded the bed into his p/u and he took it to his sister's house. Around 11 am the new bed showed up and was set up in short order.

My only issue was at the workbench. I started putting shingles on a curved roof that comes to a peak. I was having issues getting the darn things to stick correctly. I finally just said the heck (read some other sailor words) with it and went and did something else.

Today is floor day. But later I meeting up with a couple of the SBG for a cup of coffee.

Larry that's our weather for 3/4 of the year if not longer.

It's sunny, but muggy and turning warmer.  The dogs are at the groomers today, so the house is unnaturally quiet.  I really notice when they're not here.  

Since the coal dock is done, I'll do some more pick-up/put-away, then probably back to 'forestation', to finish the run of scenery against the backdrop.

Nothing really accomplished yesterday except restoring my O scale stock for the side hustle.
The Stoney Blacksmith has all the windows in and awaiting finish. It's kinda on the back burner.
Gena and Lil Phil are canning Tomato's like crazy. I still need to mow.

Dental check up went well except that miserable thing they make you sit on..

Good morning from Wisconsin. Our forecasted heavy T-Storms last night continuing overnight missed us completely. I barely had a trace in the rain gauge and it could have been dew residue.

Rick, there are 2 of Thomas Dambo's trolls in Colorado. I added the link. If you decide to see them check that they actually are still there. They are built from recycled wood and they deteriorate as planned. The 1st six we saw in Chicago's Morton Aboretum lasted 4 years from 2018 to 22 before they had to be taken down. Supposedly 68 are still able to be visited in the USA. The 1 in Austin was torched by an arsonist this year!

We enjoyed SpiderMan: Brand New Day but I enjoy the Marvel movies so I'm a bit bias but if I didn't like it I'd tell you why. Anyway see it if you have seen the previous Tom Holland versions of Spider Man or you'll be lost for the story line. While still a good action film that stands well alone understanding the story line would help. If you have the Disney Channel they have all the Marvel movies are there.

I have lost the mojo again for building trees, bridges and structures. I'll try again after 10:30 this morning. Terry asked me yesterday if maybe I'm too distracted in the big open spaces of the daughter's shop. I never thought of that but my initial answer yesterday was no. But not being able to sleep and just having figured out how to fix ALL the world problems, I thought about the space. It is open to my side and back. Maybe a moveable screen to block the surrounding area!

The grandson said after he and the team played a great hockey game yesterday that he was thinking about the loan and could he pay it off early? I said of course and no fees to pay early.  He also mentioned I didn't charge him a late fee. I said no not this time. I said while it's a business loan and not personal I'll always be your granddad. I asked if he's late now how could he pay it off early. He explained by cutting back hitting balls on the range and hit balls on the simulator. He said a big bucket of balls is $21.00 and a soda with hot dog is $12 plus tip. I said that's his decision but I never checked the bucket price the couple times I've taken him and 2 buddies. So yeah he's spending $100 just on hitting at the range! He definitely can pay if the grass would grow! I didn't say that to him about the weather

The sun is shining and the current temperature is 23c (75f).  Got to enjoy is as rain is in the forecast for the next 6 days.  Well last night didn't go as planed as but the time I got home from work (after stopping at the vet to get Gracie's medicine, grocery store and gas station) made supper and ate is was 8.00PM. I ended up doing some administrative work for the SLD (I'm on the executive now, lucky me) and I'm in charge of next season's Kit-busters project which will be making a shadow-box with a railroad related scene. Hopefully I'll have better luck tonight getting to the bench.

Weather in South Jersey is cloudy/77.  Later on P.sunny/81.
The beach was wonderful yesterday.
All the kids, grandkids and friends had a really good time.

We had about 50 first responders show up for National Night Out last evening. We had some tasty burgers and dogs and homemade desserts. Plus, each first responder got a gift bag to take with them that included gift cards to local business and snacks "for the road".

Got drafted into a total living room rearranging yesterday then unexpected visit from a couple we know. 

Just had breakfast out and brought the Doll to visit the St Vincent's store a couple miles South of the State Capital.

Going to be a real ugly election year here in Michigan.
