The NH Seacoast is sunny and 80-ish, my chickens and cats are out and fed.  I've put out a cold, light breakfast: fresh blueberries, black raspberries and mulberries, bread and rolls, jam, honey and PB.  The kettle is on. Cold cuts, fresh milk, juices and cheeses are in the fridge, with the eggs I collected last night.

Nothing planned for today, so I'll proceed as the mood suits me. Our youngster is having a good hike around (not over) Mont Blanc and making new friends; His pictures en route are beautiful. I need to send a few to my old friend who's suggested we do this next year.

James, post some of those photos here, too...  Particularly in hot weather, I'm always comforted to see good mountain photos.  Glad he's having a good time.  The only place I traveled to during my college days was Ft Bragg, NC  :P

Humidity is down a bit, and temps won't be as hot today as the last couple of days, but more relief coming tomorrow.  "Foliage" is my word-of-the-day in the train room.

Morning all,

Back from our Door County trek.  Drove back through a couple of spotty, but very heavy showers.   Need a day to recuperate.   Not sure if we're going to fireworks tonight or not.  I'd rather not.

Have a happy and safe Fourth!

Jeff
