Good Morning everyone. Cool evening and a cool morning here in the Merrimack Valley. An open house is scheduled at the F&SM today and I think I'll stop by. It's been a few months since I've been able to go. Started my retirement job at the cemetery yesterday, putting in a couple hours as a Grass and Weed Removal Technician ;D Anyway, enjoy your day.. I really want to drag my wife to the F&SM, but she's not feeling well today.  Have fun!  That's always a very inspiring visit.

Looks like the afternoon neighborhood Scotch Club will be rained out.  So that'll give me more time in the layout room, if I can work up motivation.  I did do a bit of scenery work yesterday, plus my cheapo thin cordless rotary tool arrived from Amazon.  I want that to drill holes in the plaster to plant trees.

Morning all,

Another hot/humid day here with a real feel of 100 later.

Raymo, you didn't stay retired for long.  My brother went back to work part time after retiring as well.  He was bored at home (no hobbies) and also to get away from his goofy wife.

Ortho dude thinks it's more a degenerative issue with the knee vs a meniscus.  He wasn't too excited for an MRI, so we'll try taking oodles of ibuprofen for a week or so and see what happens.

I did restart the kit and will do some more on that today.  A coupler issue on a set of paired F3 units will be looked into as well.

Jeff, a childhood friends family  has been in charge of maintenance of the cemetery for years, and they been asking me for help for the past 2. I'm able to work around my mother's care with no set hours and its only about a mile from the house. Good luck with your knee, another friend is dealing  with a similar  problem  since last week.

Morning all.

That is my title also. Pulling weeds in the garden. Wife's calling me...no break ;D

Good luck with the knee Jeff. Been there and done that. No fun.

Agenda of the day is more sweating!

Morning all,

Good luck with the knee, Jeff. I'm about to do my first, at home, exercise session that's part of my Physical Therapy for the back/hip issues I'm dealing with. Not surprisingly, they have an app for that.  :-\

I hope to get back to the workbench this afternoon. The motivation hasn't been there. I think I'll watch "The Monuments Men" while I fiddle around with the little build. We did an excursion, in Nuremburg, that took us in the underground tunnels where some of the art was hidden during the war. The wife even likes that movie, and she's not big on war movies.

Have a great one!

Mid morning all,

To all that are ailing, spouses included, I wish all a speedy recovery. I'll add my self to the mix as well. Pam is also down with a headache, I think it is stress related worrying about me.

I just finished edging the yard and pulling a few crab grass weeds. After this little break, I'll start cutting the grass.

Well, time to check the Geezer's Lounge and get to the grass.

Have a great day ya'll.

8) Hazy sun, but less smoke in lower Michigan, temporarily, per the forecast.  It was 85 before noon as the Doll and I harvested the hay mowed the lawn. It was quite long in places.

We just had a Severe Thunderstorm Watch come over the air from the local 9-1-1 Center  effect until 8 pm. Nothing is showing on the radar app. Yet.  :(

EZ is the key for the rest of the day.

Best to all on the Injured Reserve list I continue to daily do a short PT routine that really has got me thru sciatica pain in my hips over a year ago. I still need an Ibuprofen or three now and then, but rarely am I really feeling excessive discomfort good luck to you all.

Enjoy the weekend everyone.
