You want possums in your back woods.  They eat LOTS of ticks!

We have dambies (deer) that seem to be camping out in the back yard.  They've munched a lot of hostas and other flowers.  And they're sufficiently domesticated that the smell of dog urine doesn't dissuade them.  At least, they're not as bad as our place in Virginia, where they'd clean out the entire yard's landscaping in a day.

Down to the exercise machine in a bit  I finally got the finicky dog to eat some dry kibble.  Before, she was only eating wet food, with a strong preference for cat food!  Now she turns her nose up at that.  But the important thing is to get her to eat.

Good Morning;

I watched history in the making yesterday as Spacex flew another Starship, launched 20 satellites and made an incredibly soft landing in the Indian Ocean, so soft it simple fell over and floated in the water, it is still floating!  Amazing. Ten years ago we wondered if we would ever get our astronauts back into space on our own vehicles and today they are talking about Mars and act as if it is when, not if, we have a base on the moon. Never dismiss the power of a capitalistic system married to a functioning Republic. We look like a chaotic mess but the outcomes we routinely produce are amazing.

Today we are getting ready to head up to TN tomorrow for the train convention and a week of boating on the lake near Chattanooga, I am really looking forward to it. Hope everyone has a great day.

Good afternoon. All I have in my yard are a whole gaggle of rabbits.  Usually 1st thing in the morning and then again at dusk.  Lots of grass eradication  today. Time to relax..
