Morning all,

Back from our foray into Wisconsin.  We had nice weather there, but here today the heat index will reach 110.  I'm glad I have a riding mower as I'll probably do that later.

Air show was great as usual.  My main hope was to see a P-38 fly and this Red Bull one filled the bill.  They brought it and a DC-6 from Austria to the show.

P-38 is a cool plane, glad you got to see it.

Weather here continues to be perfect.  Last night's Scotch Club was fun, our Laird O'the Malts took us on a tour, with 2 bottles from each of the 5 recognized Scotch regions.  He brought the most popular and then his choice from each region.

The Springbank was the winner, with Glen Scotia and Balblair tied for second.  To be clear, we got about 2 sips of each, so we could all walk home.  But it was a great collection to compare.

Hopefully I'll generate steam today to work on more scenery.

Gotta love that P-38, what a thrill.

Worked on my diesel project, had company, ate too much cake.

~20o warmer this morning in Michigan. It may go to ~90o and drag in a chance of late storms. Rain is sorely needed. Some chances Monday, late then none the rest of the work week  8) Sun and 85o daily. It's noticeably darker earlier.

More bench time today.

Be well all

Morning.. A quiet, cool day here on the Merrimack.  Most of the morning chores are done or in the process of being done. My plan is to work on a few vehicles  and maybe watch the nascar race from Indy. We'll see.. Enjoy  your day  DR
