Good Morning from a rainy northeast corner of Mass. French Toast, Bacon, and real maple syrup is being served this morning. Oatmeal and fresh peaches are also on the table. Spent a few hours on this lobster boat yesterday adding all the styrene parts to the hull. The company that made it is now out of business.  I bought it because it was just a bit larger then the boats made by Sea Port Model Works.

We're on a morning break from the rain, and That's A Good Thing so the dogs can go out before it starts up again.  But once again, it looks like we'll get much less than predicted.  They were calling for 2", looks like we'll get 1".  Still, we're thankful for whatever we get.  Of course, that means the grass will grow, and that means the grass will have to be cut...  A guy is coming over this afternoon to give us an estimate for resetting the large (4' x 6') granite slab that serves as our front porch.  He'll also give an estimate for redoing the paths in the back garden.  Those bother my wife, even though she doesn't go out there any more.  Oh well, it's only money...

I remember Dave Frary (a former professional lobsterman at one point) saying of a boat kit, "That's a Popeye Boat.  It would never work on the ocean."

Sunny and headed to 85 today.  We're supposed to get some much needed rain tomorrow. 

Some layout work and kit work today.

Sunny and bone dry yet again in Michigan. I have a "new" shake the box box car I just picked up to work on today. A couple 1:1 things as well.

Neat little boat, Raymo, critics aside.
