Howdy!

I mentioned earlier I had put together a Jordan Mack rail bus once before. I found some photos of it. I'm posting them here.

It's going to be be a light day at work. I may find time to post more photos of the 2026 NMRA National Train Show. I've seen several YouTube videos of the show so if you have time (each one is like 1 hour long) you can do a search on the 'Tube for them. They are not mine. I have a face for radio.

Later.

Morning all.  Nice railbus Jaime! Will spend a couple hours at the cemetery this morning and hopefully at the bench this afternoon. 1st train show of the fall is this weekend in Concord NH. Dont need anything, but I've found some good deals there in the past.

Morning all,

Storming now.  High of 88 later and the humidity makes it feel like a sauna the last few days.  Might take a walk later after the rain stops.

Not a lot of train work yesterday, maybe today.

Last night we had our annual dinner with a friend I met in Oct '82.  He was still on active duty, paying off his scholarship and PhD (MIT, computer science).  We talked a lot about trains, he grew up in Spartanburg SC and remembers the Clinchfield RR.  I showed off my apple orchard photos.

Nothing on the schedule for today, so in a bit I'll head down to the train room.  After a session on the exercise machine, I'll do more work on the back wall scenery.  I ordered some more Woodland Scenics 'saplings' kits, to match what I've been using.  Keeping to 2 or 3 "species of trees" will keep things consistent across that long length of scenery.

add:   I hope Darryl is doing OK with the fires we're hearing about in British Columbia!

Afternoon all,

Nice rail bus build, Jamie! Great picture, Raymo!

Soon time to hit the workbench. Did my PT this morning and it's way too hot and humid to do anything outside.

Have a great one!
