Good morning. Two cups of coffee in already this morning, this retirement thing doesn't seem so tough. Looks like on and off rain the next few days, hopefully I can get some bench progress done.

Howdy.

Happy Friday, everyone.

I need to start this retirement thing soon, the sooner the better.

I found this cool looking truck on a layout on tour at the last National Narrow Gauge Convention in Hickory, NC.

Later.

Autocar truck originally sold by SST ltd., I think Wiseman models sells them  now.

Morning all,

Humidity up again and a high of 86 later.  Not bad this morning as the dog really wanted to go out at 0645.

I need to mow and water the flower baskets today.

A C-47 in D-day markings.

Good morning, Jeff and those on the way.  I remember seeing DC-3s flying around Boston years ago; IIRC the last commercial user in New England was Cape Air.  Gray and damp this morning, chickens are out but more to do inside before I sort my apples and take the pretty ones to the farm stand.  Not sure if there will be modeling today, but I ought to.  I have about 7 weeks to work to complete anything for this year's NER convention in Southbridge MA October 15-18.

Fresh air and clouds in Michigan's Yoop. The Doll has maps out... :o

Haircut yesterday will last me until snow falls. $9, back home I paid $23 and got nicked by a drunk the last time there.  :o

Pizza we ordered last night was nearly inedible crust like Quik-reet and cheese burn black as the devils heart. Guess we tried to eat too much before complaining. The bar tender and waitress huddled in the back with the kitchen staff and presented us with the full charge and said they wee sorry. Guy behind us scraped all the toppings off his too and didn't tackle the cement slab, either. Lesson, and "0" star google review earned.

Agree on all the positive retirement posts.  ;D

Be safe

Morning all,

Quick trip to the bank and grocery store coming up. Afterwards I'll drain/flush the water heater. Then lunch followed by some workbench time.

It's hot and humid here. Same thing as every other day in July/August/September.  :P

Have a great one!
