Very nice Larry,

Never used chalk to paint figures.  Your figures look great.  The scene looks great also.

Thank you Philip. I use Rembrandt brand from Blick.com because they're soft, scape well, and the coverage is good.

Thanks Ron. I scape some on my work surface then dip a brush in clear alcohol then mix with the chalks. I usually get good coverage on one try with the brush plus it's thin enough so it doesn't hide the details. After it drys it leaves a "flat" finish then I take and dry brush some black over the clothing wrinkles to bring out the details. Glad you like the scene.

I know man! I have the list you gave me! I'm using inferior stuff from micro-mark.

PRR Modeler

I have 5 or 6 3D printed figures that I will try your method on.

Curt good luck with the process. I usually spray paint on a thin coat of grey primer first; this gives the chalks and clear alcohol mixture something to cling too. It may be a little "trial & error" to get the mix right plus you can always go over an area a second time to get the coverage if need be.
