Good Morning,

Rick thanks for the coffee and breakfast this morning. Enjoy your "slow day".

What's happening in your neck of the woods?

For those of you following along I posted another chapter to my blog.

It's a clear and frosty 30 with a high of 60. Probably will have to venture outside this afternoon and get rid of the frozen flowers; it's time they went away. Hopefully some bench time as yesterday was a bust in that area. Oh ya, the leaves need to to ground up as well.

Have an enjoyable and safe day!! Be well all.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick. Enjoy the slow day.

I think the high today is supposed to be 77F a relatively cool day for us. The show went well yesterday with one of ours getting several ribbons. We skipped the group dinner since we were exhausted.

Today after chores I have to move a bunch of rescue equipment around. I checked the sculptamold last night and one spot is still damp.

Larry I'll read the chapter right after this.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Rick, much appreciated. I've had three months+ of slow days. Enjoy yours my friend.

It is nice to get back to some sort of normalcy on the modeling front.

My plans yesterday fell completely apart. I forgot I promised Pam I'd drive her to a few of her favorite "honey holes". I lounged in Barnes and Noble while she made her stops at all her stores in the mall. I'll try again today. Oh wait, she has bowling practice at 10 this morning.

TomO surgery/procedure canceling is frustrating, especially a few minutes after leaving the house. My kidney surgery has been cancelled two times in the past month. It is now scheduled for November 11th. At least mine was done a week prior to the procedure.

I was working on Horwoods build and found I need to get more pink foam to finish the concrete area. Seem like it is always something to impede layout progress.

Have a safe and happy Sunday everyone.

Morning everyone

Rick thanks for the breakfast & coffee.
Nice picture.

Larry sounds like outside chores.

Curt congrats on the getting the ribbons.

Weather in South Jersey sunny/39.  Later mid 60's.
I did get more framing done so I started the siding on wall 4.
Today we are busy.
Guy coming to fix the dryer again.
We have company coming right after that.
And the grandson will be back for another week of work down here.
Bench time I doubt it.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Good morning Crew. Cool morning start. 38f degrees now at wake up (6:16)it was 32 feeling like 25. It's now bright and sunny with a high of 65 around 3

The grandson has soccer at 1:30 on the home pitch only 5 miles away but almost a 25 minute ride because they closed a bridge! His team is 16-2-2 in his fall season league with 6 games remaining. No playoffs in this league.

Today I will work on 1 commissioned weathering project. I am going to try to follow a Ai created project schedule. We will see how long that lasts

Enjoy your day

Good morning,

Rick, thanks for the coffee and bagel.  Enjoy the day.

Larry, good luck with the outdoor activities.

Curt, congratulations on the show results.

TomACL, good to see you back at it.

Jerry, good luck with the dryer fix.

James, sounds like a fun day ahead.

TomO, wishing Terry a successful operation and recovery.

Philip, have a good one!

Karl, I've seen the seeds turning green, but never the shoot.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a bright morning, warming to the 60s later.  Yesterday's college football was a bust, but at least they beat Texas the week before.  The 1:1 tasks are piling up, but I hope to make it upstairs to work on the shed windows.

Have fun,
mike

Tom...good to hear you're gaining some normalcy back to your life.

I may have a solution to the missing auto showroom signage on Horwoods. I recently bought a laser/engraver. I'm going to try cutting the lettering after I learn how to use the rascal. If successful I'll cut a set for you as well

Good morning everyone,

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Rick, nothing wrong with a slow day, enjoy it.

Larry, hope you make it to the bench today.

Curt, congratulations in the ribbons, the only thing I hate about Sculptamold is it's drying time.  Here it takes about a week.

Tom, glad to hear they you have slowing getting back into modeling.

Jerry, glad you made it to the bench yesterday and made some progress.

TomO, Will be interesting to see how the AI project schedule works out.

Mike, hope the 1:1 doesn't keep you from making it upstairs.

Terry, hope you master the engraver quickly, have a great day.

Current weather is 4c (39f) with the sun shining. Yesterdays open house was a success with 21 people showing up to see the layout.  Mostly positive results and the railroad ran flawlessly.

Not sure what today will bring beside grocery shopping.

Have a great day everyone.

Yet another, close but no cigar at SPARTAN Stadium yesterday, de ja vu.

Sun and clear chill this morning.  8) May finish mowing, at least with a noon start game there was some time to start the job yesterday.

That tomato was local grown and had been on the shelf here for a couple weeks and on the verge of being 'done for'  It did taste ok.

Off later to visit friends'.

Enjoy the day all.  No football planned, LIONS on a bye week.

Curt, good for you on the ribbons!

Jim Donovan

Good Morning;

Well I have the windows and sliding doors open today, first time that has happened an a few months. Very nice out this morning at around 70 degrees. Good to see ACL Tom up and about too.

As for me my bride comes home today from a 4 day trip to Las Vegas competing in a big dragon boat race. They had 48 teams and Deb's boat came in 2nd for the 200 meter beast cancer race. Afterwards they found out this tournament does not separate by age so they were racing mostly much younger people, her boat is 55 and up with 2 that are in their 80's. Made coming in 2nd that much more special.

So today I need to turn this house back into a married home not the bachelor pad it had become. I have the sheets in the dryer and the mop on standby. Hope everyone has a great day.

Jim, congrats to your wife's team on the win.  I've watched some dragon boat races in Vancouver, it's clear that's a team effort and team coordination is the key to success.

Sunday is our sleep-in day.  So I fixed brunch and will head down to the train room in a bit.  Plan is to paint the truss rods I did in the new jig yesterday, and then work on scenery while the paint dries.

Sorry not doing breakfast!

Good morning from the UW Surgical Center. I wasn't going to post today but I need my IPadpro to read books so here I am. Talked to the doctor with Terry until they told me to settle in the waiting area. He immediately apologized about being sick Friday admitting when his mom was sick there were a couple times he brought her to surgery and it was postponed. He said he understood our discomfort with the weekend wait.

The Packer/CBoys game was on while I was working on a project last night and I really only paid attention to the extremely long penalty filled 4th quarter. Not sure this late into the season if either team is any good. I have disliked the Packer coach since day 1, 7 years ago!

We were told to expect to be home by noon unless the Doctor decides since Terry has agreed and I went along to take more of the lung than expected. Technically this is an internal biopsy. They will rush the samples to the lab and he decides on surgery today or another time. Terry has opted for today!

Guys thanks for the well wishes, hopefully I am back sooner than later.

TomO

Rick

Good morning everyone.

41 now, clouds in the AM and sun in the PM with a high of 66.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
Bacon, egg and cheese on a hard roll for breakfast.

TomO, many positive thoughts for Terry and you today.

Dave, more scenery today.

Jim, congratulations to your wife.
That's an impressive outcome.

Karl, mowing done?

Philip, heat has been on in the mornings and at night for the last week.

Ron, congratulations on the successful open house.

Terry, have fun with the new tool.

Mike, hope you made it upstairs yesterday.

Jerry, hope today is less busy.

ACLTom, were you able to get more pink foam?

Curt, congratulations on the ribbons.

Larry, leaves today?

Hope everyone else is well.

I'm getting tired of the slow days.
Today won't be slow.
My neighbor asked if I'd mow her lawn, so I'm doing that this morning.
Might do mine later in the afternoon.
Should be the last time for mowing lawns.
Also a trip to another state park I haven'y been to yet since I was last there about three years ago.
Walmart and Costco too because to cupboards are starting to look bare.

Good morning,

Rick, thank you for opening the door, making coffee, and cooking breakfast. Wow, you have a lot on the agenda.

TomO, wishing Terry good results.

Jim, congrats on the boat race to your bride.

Philip, wow, it's already the time of year for heat.

Ron, congratulations on a successful open house.

Terry, good luck with the signage.

Karl, did you get the mowing done?

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a bright morning at 45F, brrr.  Several 1:1 projects were completed yesterday.  I removed a defunct under-cabinet tablet system and installed a new one.  I put all the recipes in OneNote, and I use the tablet to reference them while we cook.  Today is a garage reorganizing day.  Sharon and I are swapping sides, and her car is longer...

Have fun,
mike
