Good morning everyone,

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Rick, looks like you have a very busy day lined up.

TomO, hope the procedure goes well for Terry and it's all good news, will keep you both in our prayers.

Mike, hope the garage reorganizing goes well.

Current weather is 9c (48f) and sunny.  Good day for a road trip.  I have a site visit today at 1:00PM (2-1/2 hrs from Ottawa)  and I should get back the normal time (around 6:00PM).  No modeling yesterday, with getting ready for the open house and all the visitors on Saturday, I just didn't feel like it.  We shall see how tonight goes.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning everyone

TomO prayers for you and Terry.

Rick thanks for the coffee & breakfast.

Weather in South Jersey is sunny/44.
Later mid 60's.
Today we have to look for a new clothes fryer to fix the old one it would be to costly seeing she's 16 years old.
Hopefully some bench time later in the day!  Have been making changes in my head on what I was doing so we see how that goes.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Frost and bright sun,  8) , in Michign.

I did not finish mowing.  Rested for our way late night out at friends playing cards and talking about folks that are down in FL already.  ::) Had a good dinner as well.

I'm informed of a trip to the UP tomorrow in on, so today will be a rush...

TomO,all the best for Terry's ordeal, and yours as well.  ;)

Be safe all.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening TomO. Best wishes for Terry today. I hope it's good news.

Thanks for breakfast Rick.

Back from errands and chores are done. The sculptamold is dry so I need to do some sanding today. I'm sure it will be a mess. It's cool here in the 60's and trying to rain.

Larry great chapter.

Ron congrats on the open house.

Karl so you're talking about me and the other FL members? ;D

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning,

Tom O. best of luck to Terry on her surgery and hopefully things will be in her favor.

Rick thank for the coffee and breakfast. Sounds like a busy day but that'll keep you out of mischief. Thanks for another nice photo.

Ron safe travels and enjoy the nice weather while you can.

Mike hope all the 1:1 stuff goes quickly. 45F?....that's short sleeved weather around here.Lol.

Jerry good luck looking for a new dryer; hopefully you can find one you want for not too much $$.

Karl don't overdue on the prep for the UP and hey the lawn will still be there when you get back.

Curt good luck with the sanding and maybe wear a mask while doing it. Glad you enjoyed the chapter.

What's on your list for the day?

A nice sunny 49 with a high of 66 today. Managed some bench time yesterday and maybe more today. This afternoon I may go out in the garage and get the sn*wblower serviced so it can go out by the road for sale. It's about 10 years old and was bought new the last 2 years my Dad was alive; still works fine but I want something newer, a little larger with a much bigger engine since the last couple of years the sn*w has been wet and heavy most of the time.

Have a great and safe day!! Be well.

Good Morning,

Upgrading the furnace pipes today. Started yesterday and destroyed the basement. A couple of the pipes had rust, corrosion, soot, and some small holes in them. I had enough material to temporarily hook the water heater back up but the furnace is disabled. The furnace is going to get another soot cleaning, plus the reducer collar was worn out. Off to Lowes.. I need 2 elbow, 1 T, and pipe. Oh fun!

Rick, I can't stand the cold! It's suppose to be in the 70's thru Sunday.

Have a great day!

Philip

TomO/Tloc

Good evening or early morning.

I'm worn out. I will only say tonight Terry is sore but comfortable right now. I got home just after midnight and took an Uber as I don't think I'd have stayed awake driving. The staff said my car is ok overnight and for days in the parking garage.

We appreciate the good thoughts and prayers coming in for Terry. You all are a great supportive Crew

This is the beginning of a long life for her that will contain a few adjustments for both of us. As we decided with my cancer issues and strokes we will both do our damnest fighting to keep each other going but what happens happens. It's doubtful she will be home in the next couple of days and the plan now is sometime Thursday or Friday. The doctors both have said though if she's good they will let het her out. They however did not define good.

A super thing though happened today. Terry can eat with some minor restrictions. Dinner was soups which she loved but was still hungry! She wanted a sub sandwich and I asked her if they did surgery on her brain instead of lungs. She never ever orders a sub. So we asked the staff and they contacted the doctor who said sure. There were 4 nurses, Terry, me and 3 aides on duty so 9 people. I ordered enough for all of us from my favorite sub shop. It's a local chain and they delivered and would not charge me when I called in the order and told them where to deliver it and who it was for. I asked on the phone if I could tip and they said yes but not needed. I asked how many building the sandwiches and it was 3 working. I knew what the bill would be so I rounded it off and made it a tip.

We will tell the son and daughter tomorrow, then the rest of my side and her youngest brother

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, plain cake donuts, OJ, and soda.

A cool start here in the 60's and getting in the mid 80's later. Yesterday I cleaned up on the diorama and sanded as well as I could the Sculptamold and then painted it with WS earth undercoat. I'll double check but I think next up is ground cover (dirt/sand) on what was just painted.

I have an appointment with the surgeon on 10  November to decide what to do about the cyst. I have a feeling when it's removed I'll be under general anesthesia because of the size and location. Fun times.

TomO I continue to wish you and Terry the best.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Butty Curt. I hope the cyst surgery is without issue.

TomO, it is good to hear Terry is doing well after the surgery. At our age it is good to have each other to help. Pam has been a real star with all my stuff over the past several years. I know she gets worn out as well taking care of everything that's needed. I wish you both well and will continue to keep you both in though and prayer.

I had a very bad night Sunday night and stayed in bed most of the day yesterday. Just when I think I'm feeling better, there seems to be a small set back. Laying down usually helps with the burning but not so much Sunday night. I go back to the doctor on Thursday. He and I need to have a come to Jesus understanding about all this burning. I was told it would last 2-3 weeks, that was 4 weeks ago. The radiation burning in the urinary track is getting very old.

I keep trying to get caught up on all the builds and threads but I can't stay seated more than a few minutes at a time.

Pam has bowling today, I'll go and watch.

Have a safe, happy and healthy day everyone.

Good morning everyone.

Currently it's 46 here, sunny with a high of 70 later.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Hope, you get good answers from the surgeon when you.

TomO, I'm so sorry to read your post about Terry's health.
I hope she's resting comfortable and can go home soon.
Positive thoughts for both of you for a positive outcome.

Philip, I don't like the cold either and good luck with the furnace repair.

Larry, good luck selling the old s$%^blower and getting a new one.
Getting a new one should guarantee it won't s%$# much.

Karl, safe travels to the UP.

Jerry, I've had good luck with Speed Queen but they are pricey.

Ron, hope the road trip went well.

Mike, hope the garage reorganizing went well.

How's everyone else.

We did a nice but short hike at Palisades SP.
Got a few nice fall pictures.
Costco next and stopped at the camera shop to find out if they heard anything from the repair shop about my camera.
They didn't hear from them yet.
Walmart was the last stop before going home.
Didn't do the lawns because my neighbor said she wasn't feeling well.
So maybe that will happen today.
Camera club tonight.

A scene from yesterday.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning,

Tom O my thoughts and prayers go out to you and Terry; hope she recovers quickly and hang in there this soon will pass.

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Good luck and hope al goes well with the cyst. Enjoy your time at the bench.

Tom sorry to hear about the radiation side effects; can't even imagine what that must feel like. Will be thinking of you and Pam; hang in there and hopefully you get some right answers soon.

Rick nice photo and hope the lawn mowing gets done today. That's what Ellie said if I buy a new blower then probably we'll have an easy winter; fine by me.

What's happening in your world.

It's another sunny but chilly 37 with a high of 65. Supposed to have great weather now through Sunday with no rain in the forecast; we'll see. A couple of outside 1:1's today and a little time at the bench expected.

Have a great and safe day!! Be well and hope y'all heal up soon and get back to normal.

Good morning everyone,

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt, hope the cyst surgery goes well.

TomO, sounds like Terry's surgery went well, here's hoping she gets to get home soon.

Tom, hope you and the doctor can come to an "understanding" on Thursday.

Rick, have fun at the camera club tonight.

Larry, have fun at the bench.

Current weather is 9c (48f) with blue skies.  It was 7:20PM when I finally got home last night and after I ate, I was too tired to do anything, so I read for a bit and went to bed.  Today should be a "normal" day so we shall see what tonight brings.

Have a great day everyone

Morning all,

Acl, TomO & Mrs.O, and Curt ....hang in there! Praying for you guys!

My mission for the day is to put the HVAC piping puzzle back together. I have all the fittings.

Good morning, folks,

TomO, thoughts and prayers to Terry and you.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Best wishes for the upcoming surgery.

TomACL, good luck with the burning.  I can't imagine the pain. Wishing Pam a fun time bowling.

Rick, what a bummer about the camera.  Hope you enjoy the camera club tonight.  Great photos you post for us.

Larry, good luck with the outdoors 1:1.  It's a beautiful time for it.

Ron, understand being too tired to work on trains, but we want to see that mountain, bridge, and tunnel finished...

Philip, good luck with the HVAC.  That doesn't sound like much fun.

Jerry, any luck with a new dryer?

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a bright day today and gorgeous outside.  Today was Z3 day, so I started out working on a few little tweaks to the car.  Sweetie and I went for a short cruise at lunch and grabbed a burger.  Sharon is at Mahjong, so I still have a few hours to work outside.

Have fun,
mike

Stay warm,
