Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Larry. You got off light at HL.

Started out the day with a walk at 60F heading to 80F today. It will be warming over the next several days. Yesterday I started on the scaffolding that surrounds the boat. It should take 3-4 days to complete.

Today after chores I'll continue on the scaffolding. Later I'm meeting up with Terry for coffee. Any of the SBG are invited as well.

Next week is bad. Dad has 4 medical appointments over 4 days. :-\ Fun times.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning folks,

Larry, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast. Glad you enjoyed the hobby shop.

Curt, good luck with the scaffolding.

How goes the rest of the crew?

It's a bright morning, headed to 74F this afternoon. Yesterday's six-month checkup went well.  I am hoping to get upstairs today.  Tonight the family is meeting at a local restaurant for an Oktoberfest meal.  It's become a tradition, and the food is fantastic.

Have fun,
mike

Morning all and all others,

Thanks for breakfast Larry, nothing like a muffin and jam in the morning.

Yesterday I spoke to the doctor. We had a great conversation. What we both figured out was that he and his staff had a Cool Hand Luke moment. He prescribed a med for me two weeks ago. He assigned it to one on his staff. She called it in to the  wrong pharmacy and the pharmacy didn't call her back to say other wise. "What we have here is a failure to communicate."

Anyway, he personally called it in and it will be ready later this afternoon. The med is to reduce the frequency of the bladder to think it needs to be emptied. The radiation causes the lower half of the bladder to spasm. The body thinks its time to pee and nothing is there. This causes me to involuntarily push and that constant pushing causes the burning as the urethra is burned as well. Without getting to graphic this is my best answer to the issue.

Pam and I went to our local steakhouse last night to celebrate our birthday this Saturday. Yes, we have the same birthday and the same anniversary.  ;D However, I am 6 years older than she.

We both had Bourbon Bites as our main meal. They are actually appetizers, but we get them as a meal. The bites are beef tips soaked in bourbon and seasoned with other stuff. I don't eat as much as I used to, which is good at my age.

I'm in the train shed this morning finishing the clean up and Pam is in the house cleaning and moving furniture around.

Have safe and happy day everyone.

Morning all,

Larry. You spent 33 cents I would guess counting the change, Mr. Thrifty ;D Surprise?

Praying the new meds help with your troubles Tom.

I'm prepping for winter with a bunch of small weather projects. My boring agenda.

deemery

Well, Tom, progress at the Doctor's Office, but I hope there's a follow-up within that office on the mess-up.

Our great weather continues, Scotch Club tomorrow should go as planned.  In a minute, I'll head down to the train room and try out the new approach to configure the laser.  It's not intuitive, but I'll follow orders and see if that works.

We've been streaming the British TV show "Patience", set in York.  York is my favorite city in England, but the episode filmed in a "train museum" was filmed in the Belgian museum, not the one in York.  Bummer!

Greeting from the UP.  Early fog is thinning, temp going to 60s.  Headed home tomorrow.

We also have an AMAZON, ET AL. box (Big Tote)  Our Amazon folks are quite careful, UPS as well, FedEx often just leans out the truck door and heaves it, USPS brings oversize stuff to the porch. We can get 2 Amazon deliveries each day, we live in an overlap between W. Lansing and a South suburb of Grand Rapids shipping sites. I saw two new "Smile" buidings on the way up here, one in Clare, MI and one yesterday in Escanaba, with a dozen unmarked, brand new Mercedes with window stickers still attached.  They're all painted white .

Book keeping on tap for today, and trip prep. Back S tomorrow :D

Morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee& breakfast Larry.
Leaves I'm beginning to hate them.
But mine are finally done for the year!!

Curt looking forward to that update sounds like a lot of work.

Mike glad the checkup went well.
Have fun at dinner tonight.

Tom glad that got you on the right medicine now.
And a Happy Birthday to the two of you!!

Philip I can't believe you would be bored doing anything!!

Morning Dave.

Karl have a safe trip back home tomorrow.

Weather in South Jersey is sunny/55.  Later mid 60's.
Our delivery guys are all great and handle the packages very well.
I started a new project yesterday but got called away.
It goes with my build I was doing before I got called away to 1:1 stuff.
So today I should be able to continue and an update soon.

Everyone have a great day!  :)

Good morning everyone,

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Larry.  Only 33c at Hobby Lobby, that is a huge win.  Hope you make it to the bench today.

Curt, Enjoy your coffee with Terry, I'd come, but I think I will to way to late when I get there.  Good luck with the scaffolding and I hope next week goes well.

Mike, enjoy the Oktoberfest meal with the family.

Tom, hope the new meds work.  Have fun in the train shed and Happy Birthday to you and Pam.

Philip, hope the small weather projects go well.

Dave, hope the new approach to the laser works.

Karl, hope the book keeping and trip prep goes well.

Jerry, hope you get to continue on the new project, looking forward to an update soon.

Current weather is 8c (47f) and mostly sunny.  No modeling last night but I did get some work done on the clinic I'm giving next Saturday.  Already made a trip to Costco this morning and filled the Mrs. car with gas.  Have a couple hours of work and then the weekend is mine. 😊  Should make it to the bench this evening.

Have a great day everyone.
