Good morning everyone.

54 now, mostly cloudy and a chance of rain in the PM with a high of 65.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
Breakfast pizza topped with scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage crumbles and cheddar cheese.

Dave, interesting the way you are modeling that scene.

James, sounds like you had a very nice railroad day.

Greg, good morning.

Jerry, hope it's an errand free day.

Ron, clinics done?

Philip, hope you made it to the shop.

TomO, hope it's all good news at the doctor visits this week.

ACLTom, when I close my right eye, my left eye sees everything just like that picture.

Larry, porch and leaves done?

Curt, hope you're feeling well.

How's everyone else?

Here's what the explosion site looks like.

102726CantonExplosion02Small.jpg

Most people's first guess was that it was a meth lab.
It wasn't, there was a gas heater in the garage and the gas was leaking.
Also the owner reloaded his shotgun shells and had gun powder there.
When he flipped on the light switch it blew up.

I'm off today and tomorrow.
I think Star and I will head to a park and do a hike.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick. I hope everyone in the explosion was ok.

Yesterday was a pain but everything got done. I have another 10 day supply of 2 antibiotics and did bloodwork. The doc surprised me at sick call by telling me if 2 conditions happen go straight to the ER. Hopefully that isn't necessary.

Today I'll start off with floors then Dad has an civilian doctor appointment at 1 pm. After that I'll be sitting on my backside.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning,

Rick thanks for the coffee and breakfast. WOW! what a mess after the explosion!! Hope no one was seriously injured or worse. Enjoy your days off and the hike with Star.

Curt hope your medical situation gets resolved without any hospital encounters. Get some rest and take life easy for awhile; if you are able.

What's going on in your neck of the woods?

It's a sunny 36 with a high of 64. The leaves were done yesterday but it was too cold to do the back porch. Thursday is supposed to be a high of 72 so I'll hold off until then so the porch dries quickly.Spent a little while at the bench yesterday and the details for the boat arrived as well so now I'll tinker with that.

Have an enjoyable and safe day!! Be well and I hope everyone's medical conditions resolve quickly.

Looks like the remains of an old Army jeep in there.

Our wonderful October weather continues.  Cooler today, it got down to 26 last night.  But still bright, sunny, and dry, and the neighborhood oaks are probably at their (brief) peak.  Of course, my yard is covered with leaves...

After PT, more work on the riverbed.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Rick. Man, what a mess. It sounds like all those materials made for the perfect storm. It was just a matter of when. Rick sounds like you have a bad cataract in your left eye. Better have that checked out.

Curt, happy to hear you got some drugs, the good kind that is.

I'm  off to edge and cut the grass prior to the rain. We are expecting 60% so that means we have 40% of not getting any.

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for coffee and breakfast.

I'm off to the dentist and will check in when I have more time.

Have fun,

Good morning. 75f degrees later which just means when Fall and Winter show up we will be paying big time.

In 2015 Summer in the 1st house (a Victorian) we had here after retirement I was on the front porch. A boom, windows in the house breaking and then in the sky to the north a poof of a white not quite mushroom cloud. Turns out it was a deliberate gas leak as the husband had killed his wife, stuffed her in the freezer and then blew up the house to cover her murder. Obviously not a smart killer and they arrested him recovering in the hospital from burns from the explosion. Leveled his house and a few around him eventually were knocked down. We had 6 windows to replace as we were maybe 1/2 mile away. Stupid

Gasoline yesterday ranged for regular $4.39 to $4.69. Last week it was $3.99! My car holds 13 gallons and thankfully only filling it once maybe twice a month.

Terry and her friend watched the World Series last night. Fairly calm between the 2 of them. They were crazy on Monday night. My brother had called and asked if I wanted to place a bet on the game as he was in Vegas! Said no as I have never placed a bet at a sports book and honestly I don't have a lot of interest in the games. Terry though is invested! No bets from her either

I worked on touching up 3 trees at the bench yesterday. I am not counting that as the mojo returning. Below is a picture of where the trees will be placed

Enjoy your day

Quite a RUD in that garage, Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly, that looks like a 60s era pre Hummer "Jeep" with the horizontal non jeep style grill.  In this area, there was a domestic standoff and shooting situation just South of Battle Creek that ended with the pertrator deceased and the parents' home destroyed by fire on Monday in a nice appearing lake side area.  All sort of madness...sadness and all.

Sun and warmish today.  Slept all night in good shape, going to be some 1:1 outside today, one more day of it then cooler, wetter, and the Curse of Set The Clock so it's dark right after lunch... :'(  :'( .  Need to get the big deer changed over to winter prep.

Saw mention in the comments on a train video I watched that gas was $1.xx/Canadian in the Soo St. Marie area of Ontario.  $4.69 ish here yesterday  :-X

Get to work, Karl...."Yes Ma'am..." ;D

All I have so far to add.

KARL but was that the price per liter?

Good morning everyone,

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Rick, that was one heck of an explosion.  Enjoy your days off and your hike with Star.

Curt, hopefully the 2 conditions won't happen.  Sounds like you have another busy day ahead.

Larry, have fun with new details.

Dave, hope you make some progress on the river bed today.

Tom, hope the edging and grass cutting gets done before the rain.

Mike, hope the dentist visit goes well.

TomO, 3 trees is a start. 😊  Glad Terry is enjoying the World Series.

Karl, that 1.xx is per liter, 3.78 liters = 1 US gallon  At my neck of the woods gas was $1.69/liter or $6.39/gallon, yes gas is expensive here.  Hope the Deere winter conversion goes well.

Current weather here is 1c (33f) and overcast with 30% chance of showers this afternoon.  Completed the first clinic last night, tonight after our On30 gang Zoom meeting I hope to start clinic #2.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning again,

Rick, hope you and Star enjoy the day off.

Curt, good to hear the medical stuff is going well. Safe travels on your errands.

Larry, good luck with the porch.  Ah, more details.

Dave, good luck with the riverbed.

TomACL, I hope this is the last lawn mowing and edging.

TomO, good luck with the mojo return.

Karl, hope the 1:1 goes well.

Ron, congrats on the clinic completion.

Gregory, good day to you.

How is the rest of the crew?

Dental cleaning appointment went well.  I dropped off clothes at the cleaners, washed Sharon's car, took cardboard boxes to the recycling facility, and ate a fiesta omelet breakfast at Waffle House.  Today, Sharon returns from a visit to our Daughter's lake house.

Yesterday I fine-tuned the windows, which are now ready for installation in the engine shed. I'm touching up the roof weathering here and there.

Have fun,
mike

Comment suggested a gallon, but never know what the truth is

Our resident resident on all things Canadien say it's per/littter. I take him at his word, eh!?!
