Sun and humid in MI this morning, but a bit cooler than the 85^o we had yesterday.

My SPARTANS won in fine fashion.  That and a little bench time highlighted the day.  LIONS give it a go at noon today.

Trip prep today for a run to Northern Command this week. 

Nice pix, Jaime.  I, too, love the detail on brick structures.  I marvel at the round window in the 3rd shot.

Good morning, Jaime, Karl, Greg and later arrivals.  I'm sure you know, Jaime, but in case others don't Tichy #8145 & 8146 are star-shaped reinforcing plates in HO.  But they weren't used on all brick buildings - my photos of two 1840s examples from Newburyport don't show any exterior plates. I expect those older buildings were just built by masons, as opposed to designed by engineers trying to minimize cost.

Yesterday I was up in Conway NH showing off the Flying Yankee train. Today rain started about 8 AM on the NH seacoast, expected to continue all day. I'm reading news and have bills to pay, but after those I will shut the computers off.

Morning all,

High of only 69 today and supposed to start raining in an hour or so.

Exciting Cy-Hawk game last night.  Third year in a row decided by a last minute field goal.  Hawks were triumphant this time.  

Did get the lawn mowed, but also watched the FIBA US game, the Red Sox game and then the Hawkeyes, so not much else got accomplished.  Will probably watch more sports today.

Rain all day.  One dog insisted he had to go out, so he got soaked and wasn't happy at all.  

Stillers are on TV today, so that will probably cut into modeling time.

Morning. Jaime, one of the old firehouses that was in the downtown area had cast iron  H's as part of the stay bolts. Staying inside today with the weather, might watch crashcar later

Morning all,

Watched the 2nd half of the Penn State - Temple game yesterday. I think it was Penn State. They had the uniforms on. Hard to tell these days. When they got a new coach apparently, they also got 2/3 of a new team as well.

Like Dan, I may watch the race later today. I'm not following it as closely as I used to, but I'll put it on anyway. Maybe I'll continue painting figures while it's on.
