Slept late.  Thunderstorms during the night, and some predicted for today with a high of 81.

Hawkeyes play at 3 PM, so we won't be leaving the house today. 

Continued layout work today.

Good Morning T Wilson and everyone else;

I had to click on the jpegs then open them from the download function on my browser to see your photo but what an amazing photo it is, made with a Cricut? wow. It really came out ultra realistic. You will need to share how you made it. Most folks here have never played with that type of modeling before. I myself have only used it in a much more modest way.

Florida feels slightly cooler today but nice. I hope to get a lot of bench time in today, otherwise who knows. Hope everyone has a great day.

Tom, nice!  Jim's right, do a build thread on how you used the Cricut.  GeorgeD (anyone heard from him lately?) did a lot of nice stuff on his Cricut.

It's a perfect day in SE NH.  Currently 59 up from 44, sunny, dry.  Neighborhood Scotch Club is scheduled for this afternoon, but attendance might be light.  Now that the laser is in its permanent location in the basement, I might try something else on it.  I need to get a chair to put at that table, so I have a place to sit while it's doing its thing.  You don't want to leave a laser unattended in case of fire. The advice I got if you do get a fire on the material that doesn't go out is to hit it with a mister bottle, and of course I happen to have those for scenery work.

Tomorrow is World Paella Day, so that's what I'll make for dinner.  Today is leftovers, so I don't have to leave Scotch Club early to cook

Beautiful day, 60s and sunny. Lake Michigan is active today.

We got up and went to a local historical display at the local township hall. The "blink you'll miss it" called Thompson, just W of Manistique was once a thriving town with a railroad lumber mills and a very active port. Now there's very little there.  We saw lots of neat photos and stories about the past, before the timber was all stripped off.

We had a busy, tiring day yesterday with a great steak dinner at a casino W of Escanaba under less than ideal condition. We were seated next to two large tables full of a group of bachelors for the weekend from a golf outing,  indoor voices were NOT in use. They left halfway through our meals. I'm sure they were having fun with their wine.

My SPARTANS play this evening. It looks like nasty weather there at early afternoon check of the radar.
