As you can see above I had a nasty X-Acto incident yesterday. Bled like a stuck pig. Probably could use a stitch or two but that would be a couple of hours away from the project. Coulda been worser...

Even an idiot would have put the knife down after the FIRST blood!  :o  hehehehehehe

I've tried several brands of pounce/ponce wheels and don't care for them. Not a fan of the rectangluar holes, and if you slip and don't run a perfectly straight line you've ruined the wall. I'm a big fan of the Monster Nailer. Unfortunately they're out of production and no longer available. Will have to make a knock-off when mine wears out.

Yes, it's a tedious part of the build and from a distance probably not super-visible, but I like the overall look it gives.

The scribed siding from Monster has the board ends lasered-in. I just added nailholes. Again, may not show after paint and inkahol...we'll see.

Dave K.

And here we are after a light inkahol application.

Also have the walls braced and the interior painted black...nothing worth photographing. Also experimenting on scrap with paint colors. 'Til then...

The walls look great!
Now, I've gotta figger out how to make me a redneck Monster Nailer!

Thanks, Gnat. Up this morning to try out some colors. For the right-hand portion of the complex (a food service operation) I'm going with Wedgewood Green.

Three women and three men are traveling by train to the Super Bowl.

At the station, the three men each buy a ticket and watch as the three women buy just one ticket.

"How are the three of you going to travel on only one ticket?" asks one of the men.

"Watch and learn," answers one of the women.

They all board the train. The three men take their respective seats but all three women cram into a toilet together and close the door.

Shortly after the train has departed, the conductor comes around collecting tickets. He knocks on the toilet door and says, "Ticket, please.! "

The door opens just a crack, and a single arm emerges with a ticket in hand.

The conductor takes it and moves on.

The men see this happen and agree it was quite a clever idea; so, after the game, they decide to do the same thing on the return trip and save some money.

When they get to the station they buy a single ticket for the return trip but see, to their astonishment, that the three women don't buy any ticket at all!!

"How are you going to travel without a ticket?" says one perplexed man.

"Watch and learn," answer the women

When they board the train, the three men cram themselves into a toilet, and the three women cram into another toilet just down the way.

Shortly after the train is on its way, one of the women leaves her toilet and walks over to the toilet in which the men are hiding.

The woman knocks on their door and says,"Ticket, please."

Color test for center building.  For Christmas I'm asking for Karl's knack for picking color combinations.

Dave K.

Still learning how to do my own signs. The trick seems to be to find decent fonts that don't look too "computery".

A Sunday well spent.

Back at it after a busy work week.

Sidetracked with other projects...almost there.
