The one instruction sheet that shows two chassis lengths is for the C-211 Mack Truck Chassis, presumably generic to the chassis that might be used in other kits or to build your own body. The first line of the C-210 instructions for the dump body say to assemble the chassis to the 186" (short) wheelbase. Problem solved? Bob
