It's almost 10 ft Karl. The total door opening with the upper window section is 14 ft. You're right a normal man door should be somewhere between 6 and 7 ft tall.

I emailed Jimmy for the correct dimensions of the HO version so I can see if I got the S by mistake. I think 10 ft HO works out to something around 7 ft in S so Bob's theory does make sense.

Steve, I think you got the wrong scale. No way is this correct for HO.

To save this build for your layout though, maybe you could use a Tichy door and make a new surround to fit the doorway on the building? Just a thought.
