Morning all.

Dog wanted out at 0530 so I'll open today.

My last PT appointment before surgery is this morning, so that will be out of the way.

I got the tender wired up yesterday in between football (who can believe it, the Patriots won), and dog strolls.  I figured out the original wiring/board were just for lighting, not DCC.  There are three front lights (headlight, MARs, and red for when stopped) along with the tender light.  So many wires, especially with the "power pack" needing three (that's it in the picture below).  The decoder will go in the engine along with the speaker.  Either way, five or six wires were required between the loco and tender, so I opted to do it this way.  Hope to get the loco done today.

WTF with the Ovaliz? Have I been asleep and missed something? Silly question.
Working on my second million. I gave up on the first.

Afternoon all,

Not much shaking here.  Maybe I'll put in some workbench time.  I'm anxious to get into something new.

BandOGuy - I thought the same thing until Tom explained to me what he was going to do the last time I was down there.  There's a method to the madness.  ;)

Have a great one!

I kinda' sorta' knew that.
I also know my days of receiving highly classified information that must be burned before its read are over. Thank goodness.

Skip,

No you haven't missed anything important. I've been fighting a short on the second level reverse loop section and the only way to fix it is to remove the Ovalix. This is necessary so I can fix the issue. I'll rebuild the Ovalix once I solve the electrical problem.

Good Afternoon;

We are cruising in the Bahamas today. Tomorrow a sea day. I am using some of the time to work on CAD design of the draw bridge I plan to 3D print. The wood model I made worked so no to really fine tune what I want and see if I can make it happen.

Tom, good luck on your short. Everyone else have a great day.
