Morning all,

Headed to 74 degrees here today (!).  8) I will get the mower out to mow the leaves in the back yard.  it will be quick as most of the yard still has scaffolding, saw tables, etc. from the siding workers.  they have almost finished the back and the west side of the house.  only the front is left for next week.

Work yesterday wasn't horrible, and I got home in time to watch the second half of the Patriot's victory.   Unfortunately, I have to work this weekend.

Good Morning Jeff and all who follow;

53 outside now but headed to mid 70's, does not get any better than that. My train plans today are to work on the bridge project and perhaps some layout work. I will fit that in around walking and hugging the dogs. Yesterday one of them simply sat on my lap as I did some CAD drawing, they simply love being loved.

I love the photos Jeff. As my layout is set in 1912 here is a photo of structure I plan to build, located in Florida around that time. As you can see, things moved much slower in the south than north back then.

It's a little cooler than average, but sunny today.  The cleaners are due in a bit, and while they're here, the dogs are stuck on the couch with me.  They bark a lot, particularly at the vacuum cleaner, but one of the cleaners in particular likes to play with them.  So overall this is a positive experience.

I'll do the second loading door conversion today after the cleaners are gone, then paint the doors.  With that, I should be able to start installing the windows and doors into the walls. I think that the loading dock doors will have to wait until after the walls are glued into position.

Mid afternoon all,

I've been working on the railroad and the barn build.

Jim, lots of Turpe4ntine Stills here in Central Fl. at the turn of the last century. There was a lumber mill near Lake Eola in Orlando along with a Turpentine Still. The still exploded and that was the last of the turpentine stills to be run in the city limits.

Hope ya'll are enjoying the day.
