Thanks, Jeff! That's not necessarily the way I would have approached the roof but it's the way Darryl describes in the instructions and the YouTube video on building this kit, so I thought I'd give it shot. I'm happy with the results!

The back is kind of quiet at the moment. I'm moving on to the next round of Doctor's to try to figure out a way to keep it that way.

What I've started doing with shingle (or tar paper) roofing is running a small line of glue (like Canopy Glue, something transparent) along the edge between the shingles and the roof, BEFORE I trim and letting that dry.  That helps prevent the shingles from moving as I trim them along the roof edge.  I also use a brand new knife blade to do the trimming.

That's pretty much the way I did it, sans swapping a pair of Friskar Micro-Shears for the knife blade. I like them for this type of work. Especially on smaller roofs.

Thanks, Mike! I agree, Inter-Action kits and details are fantastic. I have some smaller stuff like cigarette machines, soda machines, etc. as well as a few of the kits with interior details. Wonderful stuff.
