Howdy Dave,

I added you to my prayer list.  Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Mike

Hoping nothing but the best for you with your surgery and recovery!

Dave Buchholz

Surgery was completed on May 27.
The surgical team was able to save both my knee and hip joint, but I lost femur bone in between the two.

Instead of bone it looks like I have a small block Chevy camshaft in its place.

The tumor was the size and shape of a Nerf football. Seriously. It was incredible.
Beforehand. My skin was so stretched and tight. I could bounce coins off of it.

Im in rehab therapy for a few weeks. Hopefully be returning to home and the workbench soon.

Dave,

Wonderful news and prayers answered. Rehab will be a lot of help.

Just remember, don't become a victim of the surgery. Work hard with the rehab folks.

Great news!  Like Tom said, work with the rehab folks.  Some of it may not be easy, but in the long run it will work out.

Oh, and don't forget to follow the doctor's instructions as well.   :)
