Vilius, that is some beautiful modeling. You deserve a break- enjoy New England! Let us know if you get to see any cool layouts.

I appreciate the comments, everyone. My trip to New England is over and I am back at the salt mines. I didn't visit any layouts this time around although at some point I was some 3 miles away from F&SM. Unfortunately, it wasn't open house Saturday.

I was up in St. Clair this past week and took a few more pictures of the lovely ladies that inspired Groovy's kit and this wonderful build thread that Vilius gave us.  I'm sorry to say that time has not been kind to these two and I fear that they may not be long for this world.  But thanks for preserving their memory in miniature.

I also wanted to bump this thread up because I plan on referring to it when I get around to building mine.  If they come out half as good as they did for Vilius I'll be a happy camper.   ;)

I'm building the red shop at the moment, almost done , but temperatures of 35C in my train room are not nice to work in.

Love the follow-up prototype pictures. Looks like someone needs to take an interest in those structures soon or they are going to have a date with a wreaking ball.  Thanks for sharing the pictures with us.
