Happy Cinco De Mayo, the day all of Mexico celebrates Deb and my anniversary. Today marks 17 years. She bought me season tickets for local classical orchestra, music I like, her, not so much. Tonight I will take her to the best restaurant in area, she is a keeper and I am very lucky.

I have been working on a small kit this week, Campbell #422 Barrel Mfg. Company. I bought the box at a swap meet for nine dollars a couple years back, some wood is missing but all the directions and templates in place. Campbell instructions and templates are some of the best. You can build a kit just from them, the wood is a nice addition. I'm not trying to be creative on this one, just enjoying making it. Anyhow, hope everyone has a great Sunday.

Happy Anniversary to Jim and Deb!

Made my morning trip to the grocery store.  Tea is steeping and bagels are toasting.  I'll read the Sunday paper (in paper format) and then kick back and enjoy whatever the day brings (hopefully some workbench time).  Feeling a little better today but still a little way to go to kick this head cold.

Have a great one!

Morning,

Happy anniversary Jim.

Work on the kitchen tile installation continues today and needs to get done before the angry family revolves. Not having a dishwasher and stove working is making takeout foods expensive.

Marty, you can cook a lot of stuff with a microwave and an electric skillet.  But you can't easily hard-boil eggs with that combo.  I remember being given grief by the check out lady when I bought a package of hard boiled eggs the week after Easter, until I explained "Kitchen is under renovation, and I can't boil water."  She said, "OK, that's a good excuse."
