Morning all.

Sitting here waiting to see if the roofers decide to come today.  This is the first time we've had 4 days of sun in a row for awhile and it would be nice to see them get started.

Otherwise a lazy Wednesday here.  My running the trains for an audience went well Monday, only one minor derailment of the steamer which I ran around the layout six times without incident, but of course when there's an audience, over it went.  ::)  At least the Twin Cities Zephyr ran without issues.

Most of the houses in my neighborhood have gotten new roofs over the last 2 years.  Mine is about due (houses here were built around 2000, so that's pretty much within the expected lifetime of the roofs.)  In most cases, the roofers were done in a single day.

Before your next demo run, make sure Murphy (as in Murphy's law} isn't scheduled as one of your locomotive's crew.
Try to remember that, Jeff. I don't have a lot of wisdom to display here. Maybe something to do with age?
Working on my second million. I gave up on the first.

Morning,
Sometimes it feels great to stay up until 2am and work on a old FSM kit that was sitting on the shelf ...

Ugh.  But that is a consequence of retirement, more time spent suffering through the medical system...
