Morning all,

Just got back from a Chick-Fil-A run so there's Chicken Biscuits, Chicken Mini's, Bacon/Egg/Cheese biscuits, hash browns, etc. for everyone.  ;D

Yesterday I installed lighting in the current build (one of two background flats). I waffled on whether or not I was going to add lighting to this particular one but caved in and did it.  More workbench time this afternoon.  Game night tonight.

What's on your agenda for the day?

Have a great one!

Morning all.

Fifteen degrees here and we might break the freezing mark for the first time in over a week.  Might take the dog on a walk later.

Need to decide if I want to over spray the kit roof a different color.  Will work on that this morning.

Sun  8) and fun here in Michigan after my boys wiped the floor in Ann Arbor with the Weasels  :o  always a treat!

Over a dozen deer resting under the pines at the back of my yard.  We Bought them a new feed block yesterday while we were out.  They seem quite content even going on 9:30 this morning..

Good morning, all. The lower Merrimack valley is in the mid-20s with sun visible through overcast. Supposed to get above freezing this afternoon, which will help with ice on my driveways and maybe begin widening our roads back to the pavement edges. Town is over budget on Winter Maintenance (long story) and they haven't been winging this season.  It's gotten to the point where vehicles meeting have to slow down and move closer to the banks than one would normally drive.  And the normal walkers are not to be seen at all.

Last night's Flying Yankee presentation was well received by the HUB Division audience, even though I had to switch to straight slide show because I hadn't finished the powerpoint. Afterward, we were talking about the HUB High Green operating event coming up in May. I was asked about my layout signals, so I've started to re-post the old RR-Line thread here.  More of that later.

Afternoon all,

Karl, Fantastic picture. I'd love to see that in my back yard without the white stuff. Thanks for sharing.

Damnbies are fine, as long as you don't have any flowering plants.  In our house in Northern VA, they ate almost everything in the yard (including Monks Hood, sufficiently poisonous that plant is used in murder mysteries  8) ).  Finally we found a couple things they wouldn't eat, including daffodils in the spring, hellebores, and goatwort.  Otherwise, everything else we planted went into deer fodder.  Of course, they were protected (except for special permit bow hunting), and they knew it!
