Good morning,

Heading out for breakfast shortly so you're welcome to tag along if so inclined.  Peach Valley is our usual Wednesday morning hangout.  Try one of the Peach Muffins if you join us.

I'll mow the grass later.  Assuming it stops raining and it dries out a bit.

Just read where they're evacuating 20,000 people in Cologne, Germany so they can defuse 3 unexploded US WWII era bombs (2 twenty ton and 1 ten ton) that were just discovered in a shipyard.  Gee, we'll be in Cologne next Thursday.  I hope they do a good job.  :o

Maybe some workbench time this afternoon.  We'll see how the day goes.

Have a great one!

Bob, there's a large brewery next to the train station in Cologne, "Gaffel am Dom".  The beer and the food is very good.  Something to watch before you go:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BuLhIii_2M

It's starting off cool, but heading to hot today, 49 to 84.  Plus more humidity and haze from Canadian wildfires.  They're saying "stay indoors" so I guess I'll have to head down to the train room today.  My package with the O scale brake wheels I want to adapt for a machine tool should arrive this afternoon.

Morning all.

Dropped the car off to be detailed and had a brisk 2 plus mile walk already this morning.  Sixty degrees headed to 77.  Most of yesterdays rain missed us to the north and south as usual.  Work on the FSM kit continues.

750 with clouds thickening for impending rain, appears less than 10 miles out, that will supposedly lead to a cool down.  Yesterday we had 870 really hazy sunny  8) weather that actually felt like summer.

Been playing phone tag with AAA insurance regarding to changes coming to my home owners' insurance.  Their phone tree is aggravating to be kind.

I mowed the front half of the estate yesterday, plans will wait for today.  May do some bench stuff or layout stuff. Have to keep the phone welded to me so I can answer if AAA calls.

Well, off to...something :o

Enjoy the day all.

I need a good detain job on my truck, Jeff.  I'm not too neat.  I do keep the outside handled fairly well.  Thankfully I don't live on a gravel/dirt road.  Here in MI they spray for dust control using brine, the dust gets into places much worse than winter ice control. Ram and Chevy trucks rot terribly :o Fords just blow up ;)

Seez y'all later!

Good evening, all. Despite the nice weather, I didn't get a lot done today: I don't get along with MSG and our meal last night apparently included quite a bit. The manager is a friend, but on vacation. I won't go back till she's on duty again.  Then the (barely) kitten went for a ramble; we walked around the neighborhood several times but then after two hours found her resting in her favorite spot under the forsythia. Oh, well, early to bed and a different set of circumstances tomorrow.
