Morning all,

Warmer here today with a high of sixty degrees.  Hopefully the workmen will get more done, it seems yesterday they didn't do much, maybe due to the cold.

I spent an hour trying to get Decoder Pro to work without benefit.   >:(  Maybe another go today.

Good morning!  After flurries yesterday, it's still chilly but no precipitation in sight.  I didn't get much done on the railroad, but I'll head down in a bit.  The other thing I need to do today are slides for my talk, a friend wants me to talk to his Project Management class one evening.  That's always fun.

Good Morning Folks;

As always love the photo Jeff. Dave I think you left the door open because it is only 58 now and went down to 42 overnight here in Central Florida. This week I've been slowly working my way through the shelving units in the garage cleaning each up and putting things back where they belong. I am not a neat person but I have really made a mess and need to get things back in some type of order.

Beside that I will be working on my latest project making a bridge. Dave asked in that build thread about a oil rig I showed in one of the layout photos. It is a Campbell kit (about 20 years old I guess when I made it seven years ago). It was the very first wood structure I ever made. Thought I'd share here the layout photo and the real scene that inspired it.

Have a great day.

Jim, photo not showing when I looked at it.  I'm sure you'll work it out.  I tried, but didn't work for me, either    Hmm...just the weird quirky forum software, it is there after I posted and edited this a couple times.   Neat scene real/model.

I like oil wells.  I will have some oil field stuff on my layout, SE Kentucky?  Rule #1  ;)

I do have that Campbell kit somewhere in my POS, Pile O'Stuffs..somewhere.  I think I also have an old Alexander oil well kit too.... seems I wrote this once before and the forum ate it.

Going to try and fine something worthwhile to print with my 3d machine. Pumpkins and Star Wars figures have helped me get over the hump.  Need now to learn a draw program for some useful stuffs.

Warmer in MI this morning, 450 shows down in the lower RH corner of the monitor if you look down there.....\  it is still Battleship Grey overcast out the window.

Not sure on the day's plans, ease in.  It's hump day.  :o

Be Well all :)
