Morning all,

Twenty two degrees here, headed to twenty nine.  A tiny bit of snow fell last night as well.

Maybe we'll get the kit walls put together today.

Good morning, Jeff and later arrivals. Clear and 10F here as the sun rose over the lower Merrimack Valley. Today's high is forecast as 30F but a little higher will shrink my snow piles better, so I'm hoping. My tractor did crank and fire last night while I was fighting with the chickens' water (I'll explain if you really wanna know, but still annoyed about the whole episode). That implies I should figure out how to install a battery knife switch. We have to put one in every old truck we keep around the Trolley Museum; there's always some stupid parasitic load that drains the battery if you don't use it for a couple of weeks.

My wife got a lot of modeling done yesterday, I didn't.  Maybe I'll do better today, not much else on my calendar.

One of our Volvos had a 'parasitic load' that would drain the battery in 2 weeks.  That was a real problem when we left it in a parking lot for vacation.  The mechanics never did find the problem, but I kept a battery charger in the trunk...

Today I have PT and then a funeral for a friend from my time in the NH National Guard.  So I'll get a bit of modeling done in between.  I'll refill the foundation cracks and let that cure, and maybe do the window glazing I was going to do yesterday.

Light snow, grey sky and mid 20s for temps in MI this morning.

Made slight progress on the layout yesterday but putting things together for the tax folks was an impulsive compulsion for the Doll yesterday.

Back to the layout is planned but plans are just rough outlines these days...

Be well all.

Morning. Jeff, I took that same photo when I saw that layout at the NNGC the last time it was in Maine. Did a little on the Fos kit yesterday and will try to make the 4 walls one today.

Afternoon all,

All this talk about batteries reminds me I need to get the battery pack from my car and charge it. Last time I looked it was down to around 61%.

I cleaned off the workbench and started on a tiny project while I mull what I'm going to build next.

Have a great one!
