Up way to early this MONday, breakfast is coming.  Eggs as you like, grits, biscuits and fresh churned butter.  Sausage patties and bacon.  Special K and skimmed milk for the dietarily challenged.  Grape fruit is ready, next to the b-nanners...

Snow is forecast for here in Michigan.  Not much tho.  Something changing in the weather as my joints all ached and awakended me around 0530 and I finally gave up and decided to hit the kitchen.

I accomplished little yesterday, reaching an oh-hum with the layout ::) .

The Doll and her wild hare have a car they want to look at over the the West a bit.  We'll see how that goes.   :-X

Have a great day all, be safe stay between the lines.

Good morning, Karl and later arrivals! I'll put a basket of Cortland apples on the counter; the biggest local orchard's 2025 crop is doing well in storage.  A little snow on my grass overnight, more in the forecast.  I finally got through at least most of my slide scans last night, still have to import a lot of them into DigiKam. One box likely labeled for 10 years later than I remember riding the Sunset Limited through El Paso, but not bad overall.

Heading for Seashore soon to play small engine mechanic and get the power equipment ready for the coming work season.  Then Selectmen meet before dinner.

Morning all,

Just at the freezing mark and headed to 51 later.

How 'bout them Hawkeyes?  Beat the #1 seed in their bracket in a back and forth game.  First time to the Sweet 16 since 1999.   The women play later today to see if they get to the Sweet 16.

I'm still sore from the yard work, which we finished yesterday.  Fifty bags of leaves, sticks and dead plants.  Need to call the landscape people today to bring new mulch. Here you see a picture of the supervisor who didn't do a lick of work.

Jeff, I bet your supervisor is enjoying access to the yard.  I know my dogs were really happy when they could get back out on the grass.  Just be careful, you don't want to end up on the wrong side of the examination table...

It's a rather dreary day, temperature right at freezing, with chance of rain or snow showers.  Should be nicer, tomorrow.

Monday, OK so I missed a day but Monday, for me still looks like Saturday!

Jeff love the supervisor and the clean up, you are hired. I had one of those nights last night, sleep did not come easy but it eventually came. Woke up to heavy fog but looks like it will be another great spring day. I hope to clean up the garage today, we finished our yard work clean up yesterday as well so moving a little slow today.

My next railroad project will be making a pickle factory to finish off what I call 'the canal scene'. Complex will be about 120 feet long and at its widest 35 feet. Last of the big buildings for layout. I've started the research and hope to continue today. The internet sure has changed how we learn things. Well have a great day everyone, off for second cup of coffee.

Morning all,

Yea, as Jeff said. the Gators lost. They picked a bad day to play their worst. Couldn't even make a simple layup and it cost them a chance to repeat the national title.

Have a great day ya'll.
