At this point George has added a second level to the layout which quickly becomes the main level as we go around the corner to Franklin.

At this point we start to go around the corner into the main layout room.  The bridge to Franklin Square comes in to view. This is were you usually find George giving "Tommy" instructions between greeting his guests at open houses.  Thom and George have a great working relationship. Thom does a lot of the work on the locomotives and helps George with the layout. As I rounded the corner on this visit here is what was going on.  Our own Dan "Raymo" is listening in and looking at the stick I have the camera mounted on - George is going to kill you when he sees that is the caption that should go over Dan.  More on the stick latter.
