Hi Robert:

Call George at FSM and ask him. Maybe he will remember. I found from the FSM kits I built that you can cut the diorama size down sometimes.

I have not built the kit yet, but these are the measurements of the main building as taken from the walls in the box and the diagrams in the instructions

Footprint of building only                              L 6.5"   W 4.65"
Size of building with top floor overhang         L 6.5"   W 5.5"
Footprint with conveyor, coal pit and track    L 6.5"   W 8.9"

I believe I bought this kit on ebay and paid list ($280) or slightly below
