Mike,

Looks like you are getting the "hang" of it.

Thanks Curt, they are quite strong and certainly better than the plastic ones from Dapol that I originally thought to use.

Thanks Jan. In the real world the 1:1 railway about 300 yards from my house is being wired as well.

Mike :)

A couple of pictures of the on-going task of wiring Norge.

Looks like very slow and tedious work.

Curt you can say that again. A deadline is a good thing to get things done. So the catenary is finished and the backdrops are fixed to the backboards.

Great looking backdrops Mike , looking good.

Excellent Mike. Is the catenary wire powered?

Apart from one loco all my electric fleet do not have "live" pantographs.

Playing with a few scenes - the pecking chickens in the farmyard................

madharry

And............a road tunnel going off scene. The cars in the scene will be replaced with the ones with the wires attached. The idea is that the reindeer will have stopped traffic. The blue and red cars have tail and headlights that will be lit.

A quick update on the new layout. I have been busy with other things - a cruise, the holiday home and several exhibitions; but the first debut of Norge is 28 September so pressing on..................
The harbour walls are made of foamboard covered in DAS clay and then scribed by hand.
