Jan, the curtains are a great touch!  I have used real fabric before for a dress shop and millinery, ho scale bolts of cloth material and stacking them on a back loading dock.  My wife was not overly thrilled about me sneaking into her sewing room and cutting swatches of cloth from her supply but it turned out pretty cool and gave it a realism that many people who visit comment on.  She is not going to like it when I try your curtain and drapery effect....LOL  Beautiful model all the way around, I will be following this thread.

Thank you all for your very much appreciated compliments, I'm loving this kit and the Majestic kit too much , the Dark side is pulling me towards it . Need to build some N-scale kits very soon or I'm lost for the cause.

Did some small interior work , a counter , floor and backdrop from hardware store.

Roof base, trim and corbels assembled.



Signs added, and yes these are signs from the Majestic kit , I will be putting the 2 buildings on a dio such that this is the store of the business and the Bar Mills kit will be the work place and storage place, more on that later on in the show.

Very nicely done. I like the colors. I think this will combine with Majestic very nicely. Can't wait to see the diorama.
